I'm sorry to hear.
If it makes you feel better... I've done it as well.
I have about 27 scars. I haven't relapsed in about 6+ months.
Now I just use rubber bands.
I'm sorry to hear.Yes. I cant' wear short sleeves anymore.
Haven't done it in a year, though.
Yes, it's a form of release. Some people do drugs; Others have a lot of casual sex to fill in a hole. (No pun intended. Maybe.) XDi never have but i learned about it in peer counseling. like most people ihad thought it was self-destructive behaviour, but they tol us it's very different that self-harm is just for realise-and thats something i can understand-i jsut hope you can find i better outlet for all the stuff you have bent up, or better yet that i'll go away
D'aww hun, I'm so sorry to hear about that. I remember doing the whole scratching and biting myself as well as pulling my hair. I heard about cutting when I was in middle school, almost got close to cutting in 9th grade, and then finally my senior year I started. When things would get bad, I would hit myself or literally bash my head against the wall...it's not something that I'm proud of. At the time, though, I didn't really know of any other way to express the turmoil that I felt inside...
I never have cut myself. I'm glad that I haven't, and I offer my sincerest comfort to those who do...
-edit-
I also have a rather bad habit of digging my fingernails into my skin, or scratching repeatedly at a certain spot on my arms and thighs. I usually lay off when they get so bad to where the skin gets raw, but it's more force of habit than anything anymore.![]()
About the sexual part... I've never saw me cutting myself for the sexual release. :O This is new!Actually I've used razors to carve into my skin for years lol tho have not done it in over a year.
It was a sexual/"pleasure" thing
And I can't wear anything above my right leg's knee lol
