no really-- this is a serious thread!

I've found that saying the usual things like "oh yeah", "oh baby" or even grunting or moaning is often distracting from the act itself. I do it anyway because my partner expects it. But if I had my choice, I'd be quiet. Is this typical for INTP?

Okay, I must confess this thread really made me laugh out loud. Don't mean any offense(I'm still a virgin so what do I know, right?) but it was seriously funny picturing this in my mind. Gah, I feel dirty now.

No.
I dont think about it till afterwards. Lucky I live on acreage or im sure the neighbours would ring homicide. Is anyone deliberately quite to avoid rousing the neighbours?. That would suck.

It really depends on the girl or if I feel like it, most of the time I'm just silently focusing on the objective :D
My eyes do most of the talking, I'm told.
I guess some slurping here and there is unavoidable

OMG tell me about it!
Haha I'm really quiet during sex. But do you know those "THIS WOULD BE FUNNY AS HELL" scenarios that pop up during the dirty? They make me snicker sometimes

i laughed heartily at "oh baby". yeah, those are a total turnoff for me, as would be conversational talking. i think the sexier thing is just heavy breathing and whatever wordless natural sounds find their way out, but within reason and not exaggerated moaning, etc. i tend to think sex is to religion as the vocal cords are to government.

I Have a little bit of an exhibitionist streak, so when let’s say in public I'm quiet as a church mouse... But when I’m not in public, well I'm no talker, but some appreciative noises simply can’t be helped... well not without a gag anyways. ;) hehe:tongue:

Witty banter, possibly even dirty talk along with foreplay is perfectly acceptable and I have been known to indulge in it. When things get hot and heavy a conversation is not going to occur. My brain shuts-up. Grunts, groans, moans, and the occasional command or demand at a reasonable number of decibels is fairly normal.

I would not say I am "quiet" or "loud."

A partner that tries to have a conversation or becomes excessively loud is not acceptable. There are known and proven methods of containing such spontaneous outbursts from a loud partner. :)

I am not quiet, and it takes a lot of effort for me to be quiet. It's not so much talking as it is moaning and such, with the occasional "Fuck me" or maybe an order here and there... it depends on who I'm with. Oh, I also really respond to dirty talk. So, I don't like my partner to be quiet either. The stereotypical "Oh baby" doesn't really do it for me. That's much too tame.

I have found that men tend to be much less vocal than women in the sack. Which slightly bothered me because I am very ig on sound. I watch porn for the noises, not the picture. Then I found a vocal guy and about lost my mind :D.
