In what area do you think are we, as a species, relatively archaic still compared to our overall development? And what kind of progress would you expect and/or suggest in that area?

I am sorry or happy to hear that! I hope things get or stay better. I definitely listened to the whole thing as you can tell.

Do any of you grow more and more alienated from your family etc., due to intellectual development with age?

No. My ESFJ sister always drove me nuts, and continued to do so until I learned to accept and appreciate her when I was about 50.

My brothers (unknown types) don't get in my face, and we've always gotten along fine.

I did have to distance from my father from an early age (I moved out when I was 16) because he was so strict. Intellectually he was brilliant, so that wasn't a problem. Our mother was both smart and nice, not a problem.

I am alienated from my intelligent daughter, mostly because she's INTJ (I think). I committed the crime of wanting to visit without planning ahead! (I wasn't even going to impose on her; I had another place to stay.)

What makes an INTP? I'm guessing an INTP (me at least) finds because the world has no meaning they must inject meaning into it even if it means hypocrisy other might say. What makes an INTP (you) I ask.

Distracting myself from nihilism only with the high I get from collecting information doesn`t work, so I have to believe in the goals I set, no matter how unlikely I am to achieve them.

Yes, quest for information.

And, taking 60+ years to realize I don't WANT to be sociable. Sure, I learn new things from in-person contact, but the hassle just isn't worth it. Internet communication is easier to manage, and more worthwhile.

Socialising with the wrong people isn't fun, but also we can learn a lot as we interact with people so there are positives. Socialising can help us keep an open mind as it can challenge our thinking in many ways.

Whatever works for you. We all have different finger lengths, some people press harder, some print while others use cursive, etc. It will depend on the writing system (e.g., different alphabet, use of diacritics) as well.

G'day geniuses. I have a Galaxy S8 smartphone, android, Google Chrome. Formerly, when I had several web pages open, they overlapped/cascaded so I could find them easily. Today, for the first time, they appear as small side-by-side squares, and I have to scroll (and squint) to find what I'm looking for.

Is this just something I'll have to get used to, or is there a way to get the old display back? Thank you.

Do you think grip matters a lot though? Or do you think the mind puts it down pretty much the same way regardless?

What do you guys think about science popularizers? Who are some of your favorites? It seems that those who publish papers into scientific journals don't usually make videos about their work.
