I'm in agreement with some that the usefulness of common online personality tests pale in comparison to self typing by reading up on cognitive functions. However, one thing that the multiple choice type of tests have over the latter is that they seem to have a percentage based computation, whereas a person's "letter" is determined using that type of computation. I believe it would be extremely hard to do this on your own, since most of us don't live our lives keeping record and computing the weighted effect of our thoughts/behaviors. Therefore, my question to you all is has anybody ever scored very evenly between two "letters", or two cognitive functions? For example, 51% on intuition and 49% on sensing. Or, does anybody have any thoughts on what this would mean in terms of your actual personality type?
