They're kinda young. The one on the right is the girl. She's maybe four now. The boy is on the left. He's somewhere around three. I don't really know for sure though. They're both adopted. Still my family though, as they always will be.
I know. I'd take another, but they're cat napping at the moment. I see you have a precious ginger of your own.
Sadly he's not mine. He was a humane society cat who was adopted some time ago. But I still loved him
I miss my kitties. I had a cat I had since college die about 6 years ago and I had to give up my other cat because my son was allergic and we could not get his GERD controlled. He seems to be doing fine with cats now so I would love to get one again. My old cat is still alive and living with the ex-husband of my friend who got a divorce after they took her in and my friend moved out and did not take her. I'm still friends with her husband so I occasionally get pictures of her though FB.
I miss having the aloof companionship. I love that cats are so independent. It makes it more special when they love on you. The only thing though that I do not miss is having to roller my clothes every morning and cleaning the litter box. I would have to pick the right cat though. My younger cat had really soft, thick, short hair and shed like a mofo which set off my allergies even. My childhood cat who had wispy long hair, never bothered me.

I had numerous cats for my boys (and wife).
I ended up returning them to the vet or pound
or whatever it is. Their okay. My family
just does not appreciate the time and effort it takes
to have animals. I end up having to do it and I simply
cant be bothered so I return them. It sux too cause
I fall in love with the little guys and I know that is
going to happen. So I have to play the bad guy all the time.
ME:"No ...no more cats ...dogs .. I dont care . no more"
Kids/Wife "Please FBE I swear we will take care of it this time"
Me thinking: "Well who am I to quash a dream lets give
this another shot"
ME; "Ahhhhh alright, alright but you guys know this is on you. I have no time
to take care of this pet. Be warned. I know the drill you get it love it
for a week and then its sans novelty and I get stuck holding the bag"
Yep. Everytime. So I feel bad for the pets since they could be in a loving
home and I have to return them or give them away. On the plus side
I have given away some pretty expensive pets over the years and
they all had shots and what not so good deal for the people grabbing
the free pet.
