@Emerging Eden

I'd like a follow-up.
Let's See Where This Goes: Recognizing the Liar...and Saying Nothing.
I'd go with:
Recognizing the Liar... and Saying Nothing: How to Accept General Human Stupidity and Vanity

As far as I can tell a lot of these people actually believe their own lies... I knew a girl who kept telling her break-up story differently. Over the years it went from "He dumped me" to "The relationship was going nowhere so we decided to end it". She retold the story many times, the thing that baffled me the most is that she just didn't seem to remember that she'd told the story before... I tried to correct her once, and she was all "I never said that!"

I was fooling around over in "Sex and Relationship" forum (no offense, but....I wouldn't go there if you value holding down your supper), and it occurred to me I could probably be a pretty good pornographer.

Maybe a Judith Krantz-style one -- I think I understand that POV.

None of the male pornographers I relate to as descriptivists -- Henry Miller, obviously I read all his books over the years, like everybody, Joë Bousquet, even Georges Bataille was, well, had elements of "erotism." I believe Pauline Réage was the pen name of someone, of some guy I guess. John Cleland, I can go back that far and approve.

No, not that is not true. Sacher-Masoch, I can count him as an influence. Anaïs Nin, no, I do not understand her writing, and she does not understand men.

Poirot understands, and he will to be trying to uncover what mystery there is behind such writing.

And to what end? It is not that Poirot cannot say, but that Poirot, he waits, like the tigers in the bushes.
