Hello fellow ENFJs, I was wondering am I the only who gets really angry when someone breaks the rules.
Situation 1: Professor at my college tries to skip the line to the parking but I stick my car infront of his so that he doesnt get infront of me.
Situation 2: Someone talks really loud in a library/ mosque. I very rudely ask them to lower the voice.
I am generally chilled person and don't mind people treating me in a bad way. I don't give a damn. but breaking rules gets on my nerves!

That does sound like Enneagram Type One way of looking at rules. I can relate, but I think it's more about security for me. The unexpected and the chaotic makes me nervous. For the second scenario I'd recommend the old proverb you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Welcome! I hope you will like it here! :proud: Sometimes it annoys me, it depends if the rules are too strong or too week.

I'm the kind of person who follows the rules as long as they make good sense to me. If I'm going to break a rule, it is because it fails the test, and 9 times out of 10, nobody will ever know I broke it, because I don't advertise my actions. The test is: What is the potential harm to myself or others, and how well can I mitigate the potential consequences?

I am an ENTP and I would say I am obvious to rules but I get upset when people tell me I broke some or tell me about a rule I unintentionally broke in the past and went away with without even knowing. It's pretty scary. I would be punished for doing something I didn't know is wrong!

However I get pretty upset when people do harm to others even if it's within the rules. For example in my country there is a rule you are not allowed to smoke at bus stops. So people smoke on the sidewalk nearby. Or they walk right in front of you. Or stand with you by the crosswalk, waiting for green. And I can't even tell them anything. I tried - they "do nothing wrong", they are "not smoking at a bus stop so it's OK". No. It isn't ok. Mind the wind! There is often nowhere to go to hide from the smoke, especially if they walk in front of you and you can't possibly walk past them and you are in hurry so you can't exactly stop and wait for them to walk away. Why should I anyway? They are the ones polluting the air.
