When you say "the remake" do you meen the 1971 film (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) or the 2005 film (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)?I've only seen the remake, idk if its different from the original but it was still pretty awesome
Willy Wonka - INTP
Charlie - INFP
Mike TV - INTJ
Veruca - ESTJ
Violet - ESTP
Augustus - Idk o.o
Charlie's grandpa - INFJ
I would say Augustus (from 2005) is ESFP. Wasn't there an article in the ESFP section that described ESFPs as being kind of spacey? Augustus seemed pretty spacey to me.Willy Wonka - ENTP.
Charlie - INFP.
Veruca - ESTJ.
Mike - IXTP.
Violet - ESTP.
Augustus - XSFP.
I agree with these. I would lean to ESFP with Augustus, and I'm still undecided on S/N for Mike but he does seem very Ti-dom. I think the types are pretty similar for both the movies with the exception of Willy Wonka (who had a very different temperament in 1971 movie and seemed more ENFP).Willy Wonka - ENTP.
Charlie - INFP.
Veruca - ESTJ.
Mike - IXTP.
Violet - ESTP.
Augustus - XSFP.
I read it, but it was a long time ago before I knew about MBTI. I'd reread it, but unfortunately it went for a swim in the bathtub one night and got ruined so I had to throw it away and I never got another copy of it.So, uh, anybody read the book?
What version are you talking about? 2005, 1971, or book?Willy Wonka is ENFP. Can't really remember enough to type anyone else.
But I thought ISFPs were supposed to be modest, gentle, and humble, none of which I saw in Augustus. At least, not in the 2005 movie Augustus. I can't remember the 1971 or book versions of Augustus.I lean towards ISFP for Augustus.
What version?Willy Wonka - EN(S?)TP.
Charlie - INFP.
Veruca - ESTJ.
Mike - ISTP.
Violet - ESFP.
Augustus - ISFP
Stereotypes are fun, aren't they? :laughing:But I thought ISFPs were supposed to be modest, gentle, and humble, none of which I saw in Augustus. At least, not in the 2005 movie Augustus. I can't remember the 1971 or book versions of Augustus.
Some of them are accurate, though. I have a friend who fits the ISFP description to a T, including the stuff about modest, gentle, and humble. If there was such a thing as too humble or too modest, my friend would be it.Stereotypes are fun, aren't they?
The old one.What version?
