What interests you about social work? What do you hope to accomplish after your studies?
Tbh. I am uncertain of that myself. What interests you about social work? What do you hope to accomplish after your studies?
Well, there's a lot to this. I don't love my family, I never have. I've been abused in so many ways and I can't forgive them. To a large part because of them, I can barely feel anymore. My ENTJ friend was the first person I could feel so comfortable with that it for the first time in my life felt like I had a family. Someone who actually cared. We don't talk much these days, but he is and was like a brother to me, the one I never had.You focus a lot on your family and their different viewpoints and opinions of you, which is a very Ni way of going about this. It's also interesting that the deepest conversation you mention is with an ENTJ; I've often seen that people generally get along well with the type that's opposite them only in introversion/extroversion, often better than they get along with most other types.
Well, how could I ignore a cute little girl like you? :wink:Of course, you could ignore me--I'm just a sixteen-year-old girl with blue hair--but that's my perspective. I think you've been spot-on with your previous identification as INTJ.
I don't actually have ambitions so there's not much of a reason. This is why I often question my choice. Because my ambition isn't around and I have no passion for any subject so I don't even know what I feel about the subject.@Acerbusvenator
I'd love to hear you expand more on your school work and social studies. Surely you have a reason for wanting to pursue social work and counseling other than "IDK".
Also, since I'm a bit bored and a bit curious, what is the type you got that prompted this thread? INFJ?
I'm guessing that (if you were to take a Big 5 inventory) you are more Limbic than Calm, correct? Have you considered the effect of being Limbic on your result?
It always kind of bothered me in games like Mass Effect where you would necessarily kill all the henchmen who were just doing their job, but led the bad guys go free!?! I guess that is why the newer Deus Ex was more refreshing, you could stealth through almost the whole game without killing anyone. An example of a game I recently played, you at a point catch a terrorist and you can choose to either kill the person or save them and I would choose save because I felt like then they could go to court instead. Tho in games like bioshock I would just save people because it would feel kinda horrible to kill those little girls out of greed.
Not my style tho. I prefer cleaning house, silently. The bad guy tho shouldn't get away so easy.*stacks on*

Tho with an open floor rather than INTP vs INTJ, which type do you think I likely am?I'm not picking up on any thing that would suggest to me you are an INTP rather than an INTJ.
It'd be hard to convince me that you're not an NJ type, and it seems clear you're an introvert, so I'm confident that you are an IN_J of some sort. I lean toward F rather than T for you, but I also wouldn't be surprised if your preference on that dimension was better described as middle-of-the-road (INXJ) rather than F or T.Tho with an open floor rather than INTP vs INTJ, which type do you think I likely am?

"Middle of the road" was how it defined it when it told me I was an INTJ. It told me my preference for thinking was very slight. It'd be hard to convince me that you're not an NJ type, and it seems clear you're an introvert, so I'm confident that you are an IN_J of some sort. Well, there's an ESTJ in our class.I'm not seeing NT.
ALL of your interests involve people. All of your post involves people.
I would venture to say social work is almost NEVER INTJ or INTP. I can see a mature ENTP, with developed Fe doing social.
Go answer one of the questionaires - I like the one with the pictures.
