I was just thinking how a lot of the great comedians seem to at least be intuitives, if not intuitive thinkers. I just wanted to start a thread listing great comedians and our best guess for their type.

Louie CK - INTP maybe INFJ but probably INTP
George Carlin - ENTP
Dave Chappelle - INTP?
Eddie Izzard - ENTP
Daniel Tosh - ENTP
Kevin Hart - ENTP

Those are just the ones at the top of my mind. List anymore you can think of.

There are three classes of comedians.

NT - The superior comedians. Speak in terms of intellectual analysis.

SPs - The Dane Cooks. Speak in terms of douchebaggery.

SJs/NFs - The shitty comedians that won't step outside their box to be funny. (You know who you are, Jerry Seinfeld.)

Ehhh....I smell a whole lot of INTP/ENTP bias here. For 2% of the population, I really doubt that all the comedians listed above are an NTP type.

A lot of comedians, especially modern ones, have no interest in making people laugh or spreading cheer. They want a platform for their political agenda where they can write off anything they say as "just comedy" and avoid repercussion, or they're seeking an outlet for their inner rage. Modern comedy tends to be thinly veiled propaganda and the only reason more of the public isn't aware of it is because the vast majority of "comedians" propagate the accepted social political correctness. And the general public is stupid.

So before this question can be answered, we must separate the true comedians from the agenda driven instigators using comedy as their weapon and shield.
