I see the phrase "confirmed INTJ" or "confirmed ISFP" what exactly does that mean?
I'm thinking it means having a licensed MBTI specialist type you. But it seems there are more than one type of type indicators. For example Myers Briggs, from what I understand, uses a questioner and focuses only on your first 4 functions, then fits you into one of the 16 types based on your answers and the profile descriptions. I found another group "Inter-Personality" that uses Phyche-Type: Jungs cognitive functions, arranged using Myers model, but without relying on an indicator. That seems to me to be the best way to go about becoming "confirmed", if I infact have the correct understanding of what is meant by confirmed.

Any thoughts?
How many of you are confirmed? How/why did you do it?
What was your experience with it?

I used inter-personality and they typed me as an INTP. At the time, I felt like I was as close to certain as I could ever be about my type, though it's hard for me to accept that there would be any way to confirm type or the existence of Jung's cognitive functions without harder scientific methods. I think that unless the existence of these cognitive functions are confirmed I'll have to remain skeptical that they exist at all.
