As I'm sure many of you are familiar with:
There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others. --Martha Graham
Can you relate with this? How, or how not?

I would like to know your thoughts. :)

Yes I can.

"Just do it". Well why the hell not?

Action is what keeps me sane, if I'm not acting I'm sleeping or dead.

Even if it's the worst possible action to take, I get something from it. I'll find a positive through any action.

It's what I am.

It sucks, but it's cool, because when you're sitting in a room and people who aren't you are pronouncing and speaking words you wrote on paper, putting their mild twists and nuances on characters you created and situations you've imagined up, to hear and listen, to watch someone percieve something you've invested yourself in is one of the lifes ultimate highs achieveable without a needle.

Shit like that is why I keep writing, and smoking, and writing. It's almost exactly like what's written up there.
