I am 16 this year and in school, I am really quiet with others and my own group, usually, I would just do my own things and sometimes my pals would check me on what I am doing and we would have some brief talks. However, when I do work in a group I usually act as the leader these days since I do prioritize efficiency over understanding something deeply. I do think that the way I do things in real life fits the 8w7 category more than the 5wX. I believe I am an introverted ENTJ with ENTJ cognitive functions(especially my high Te which is probably higher than my Ni) and I feel different from the other INTJs. I am extremely confident in real life and quite determined, so I want to ask you guys and pls share some opinions on me. BTW I am new here.

You don’t sound like an 8 to me. You sound like a 5. Welcome! I am a 5 who is often the leader in school projects and am determined. That doesn’t make me an 8. 5s have 8 traits because of the growth arrows. Could you please give me more reason to why you think you are an 8?

This doesn't offer much in the way of typing, but I'd say you're not an 8. I'm an 8 and I've never cared about what somebody else thinks. Even as 13-14 year-old, I was someone who'd go against the grain and go openly against people. I don't have Te in my stack or social instinct, so I was never a leader type, more like someone standing alone. Also your message looks way too peaceful for a 16 yo 8. I can't see a single 8 saying "pls share some opinions". ENTJs as young can think that they're INTJ, if they don't see themselves as social or not confident within, which isn't relevant in the cognitive typing.
