I have soo much energy people think I'm on crack. Everyone thinks ENFPs are on drugs
Thanks, but that's not what I was asking. Definitely I could see that too!!! Do you ever come up with ideas and sometimes start a project and then in the middle of it...., suddenly drop the idea?I have soo much energy people think I'm on crack. Everyone thinks ENFPs are on drugs
All the time. Thanks, but that's not what I was asking. Definitely I could see that too!!! Do you ever come up with ideas and sometimes start a project and then in the middle of it...., suddenly drop the idea?
The key thing to point out here is that they are extraverts. They get their energy from other people.Example.... I have these two female friends from different parts of the state. But I didn't know that they were ENFP's until recently. They are like identical. I put two and two together and I can see the similarities. They are facinating creatures!!!! And I mean that in a nice way.
1. They have some much energy when they're around people. And they are definitely not boring. They attract people like magnets. And they seem to naturally make everyone laugh and feel at ease.
2. They also come up with some entertaining ideas. Ideas that can actually be realistic. Except one problem though.... They come up with so many ideas that sometimes, or most of the times they do not follow through. Is that typical?
3. And three.... They are, or can be adorable too...., that I can not stay angry at them for too long. What gives? Are INFJ's just naturally pulled in by there charisma? How does one avoid them at all cost!!!! Garlic?
ps. I'm new to this... So I seriously want to know more about ENFP's, and appreciate if any ENFP's can help me.
Am I wrong about ENFP's? Sincerely, Johnny
NFP's are notorious for enthusiastically starting something new but becoming bored very easily midway or just not finishing something when they begin to feel obligated to do it. They are not driven by a need to finish things, more a need to start them you could say. Thanks, but that's not what I was asking. Definitely I could see that too!!! Yeah, what he said. People are heroine for me. I get "high on people". Out of control. Unstop-able.The key thing to point out here is that they are extraverts. They get their energy from other people.
You are an introvert so you do not have this ability. Or more specifically it is not as developed in you as much as your introversion is.
Keep an ENFP in a confined area without any people for long enough and their energy will go away very quickly.
Rather, we are driven by a need to learn. Once we've learned something from it... eh...what's the point? Ne makes connections so quickly, we know the outcome already. What's the point. We "get it".NFP's are notorious for enthusiastically starting something new but becoming bored very easily midway or just not finishing something when they begin to feel obligated to do it. Um, I never gave up on running and finishing 5 marathons. Running 50 miles recently was hard, but I KNOW perseverance. I am very proud of my Finisher's Jacket. People have told me I have an "iron will" and "incredible determination".Yup,we do,all of us and always:laughing:
The one thing that i NEVER gave up is my girlfriend.
Oh my gosh... that is absoulutely hilarious!!! I can definitely see that in one of the ladies I know. Maybe I need to ask if she is on some kind of medication or whatever she's doing, I want some of that!!!! Thanks for your feedback!!! You guys are truly awesome!!! Easy on the paint fumes!!! JohnnyOne time friend of my best friend saw me dancing in the club and told my best friend - "Hey,that friend of yours is really on drugs":happy:
Ha ha ha
Never did drugs do.:shocked::happy:
Thanks for the info. I've got to be careful around them when it comes to actually investing into something and then all of a sudden, file chapter 11 because of poor planning!!! But they sure love to dance!!!!The key thing to point out here is that they are extraverts. They get their energy from other people.

What's the difference? How do we intimidate? Should I start a thread?lol this thread hits on so many ENFP typicalities (a word?) that i thought the OP was taking the piss.
if you want the answer to where ENFPs get their energy from, the answer is YOU. we are as dependent on awesome people being around us as babies are on milk- so you must be doing something right in the first place. i like the way omarfw puts it as if we're some kind of superhero whose weakness is being away from people- but it's kinda true.
weirdly ENFP women intimidate me somewhat.. well half the time they're really fun and we go on many a wild adventure, but the other half of the time they can be a little intimidating, cos i have times when i need to act a little more chilled out, and they just outcrazy me. there is actually a big difference between guy ENFPs and girl ENFPs. i don't know what that has to do with your thread but there you go anyway.
What is the difference between a make and a female ENFP? Miss pinkrasputin, maybe we should start a thread. I'd like to find out. Johnny:happy:What's the difference? How do we intimidate? Should I start a thread?
Now that is so funny.... Why because that is exactly what I've noticed about these two gals that I know of. They seem to be able to juggle one thing after another and continously come up with crazy or brilliant ideas, and then suddeny drop one idea and forget the other, or have someone else complete the project. That can be frustrating for the person that is married to an ENFP!!! j/k I don't care, they are adorable. I think I'll marry one. I'm already crazy for adventure, what do I have to lose when I can gain so much!!! Ahahahaha!!! Thanks, JohnnyYeah, what he said. People are heroine for me. I get "high on people". Out of control. Right on!!! No, no... I've noticed that too.. When it is something important to them and there is a desire or need, they come through.Um, I never gave up on running and finishing 5 marathons. Running 50 miles recently was hard, but I KNOW perseverance. I am very proud of my Finisher's Jacket. People have told me I have an "iron will" and "incredible determination".
Recently I went through 15 court appearances in a 6 month time span. It was the fight of all fights for my daughter and against my abuser. During that time, I was bullied, burglarized, threatened, and almost lost everything I owned due to court fees. But I persisted and I finally won. The other party could no longer endure the battle. But I am a person who can fight until the end if I believe in it.
Also, another time when things got rough- I was carrying 22 units in college, I fleed my physically abusive husband (who was arrested for domestic violence) with $7 to my name. My child was in tow and we stayed in a woman's shelter. My parents didn't fund my college nor was I eligible for financial aid. I paid cash to the university. Regardless, I NEVER GAVE UP ON COLLEGE AND GETTING MY DEGREE. No matter how hard it got (no food, electricity, homeless, no money) I ended up graduating from college as a single mom suma cum laude.
So I guess it depends on what you mean by "giving up". I'm known for following through, even if it kills me.
It just has to be with things that are important to me.
Tridentus.... Thank you very much for your feedback. This helped to know more about ENFP's. They are just great creatures to be around. They can make me give up my hands and surrender, and then say... "What the heck," and join them in the adventure. I have to admit, there is never a dull moment. And I enjoy just watching them, whether I am on the side lines, or getting involved. Rather get involved. Many times we died laughing together and say to eachother..... "What the [email protected]#k did we do this time!!!! Thanks, Johnny.well i tend to think there are two inherent states an ENFP can be in-
the craziness state of awesomeness
and the laidback chilled out state of approachableness
me and most male ENFPs i've met spend maybe 40% of our time in the craziness state of awesomeness and 60% of our time chilled out and approachable.
all female ENFPs i've met spend 80%!! (surely not!!) of their time being crazy awesomeness. sometimes they catch me on a pensive (relatively) day and i suddenly realise what it feels like for bystanders when i'm in full throttle crazy awesomeness mode- a little scaredroud:
