Do you hate loud people?

Whenever my mums boyfriend visits, he asks the most stupidest questions and makes so much noise. He can't do anything quietly!

Putting the dishes away? Lets just throw them into the cupboards and slam the door to see how loud it can get.

Whenever the dog wants to go outside he goes "oh! You wanna go outside Penny? You wanna go outside?" - ugh

I swear it's always above 75 db in the house when he's here. I always retreat to the computer with headphones on when I'm about to snap.

Do any other intj's get real mad at loud people that talk pointlessly?

P.S, sorry if there's any mistakes, had to write in a hurry.

It depends on the circumstance. If its in my personal space or I have no means of retreating from the source of pointless noise, it will annoy me to no end. Out in public..only if I had the expectations of it being a quiet place to be.

Well I do hate stupid questions.
*Tery is watching TV*
*Someone comes to same room as Tery*
A:Hey Tery what are you doing?
B: Im watching TV . . .

I can't stand such questions xD
As for loud people, depends. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I hate when people start shouting or talk loudly especially because I feel as though it's pointless and annoying.

Hate is too strong a word for me, I'm closer to dislike.

Peace and quiet lets me get a stronger sense of independence and freedom, but for the most part I don't care enough to tell people to be quiet. Mostly, I just feel weird whenever I can hear something that I feel like I shouldn't be able to. If people are in the next room over and I can hear them talk for example, I almost get a sense of obligation to play music. A bit of it is for giving them privacy, but I think the majority of it is because I dislike that hearing outside [uninteresting/not useful] sounds affects my thought process and focusing on it makes me feel like a chump. I generally leave people to do what they will though, hoping they'll allow me the same freedom should I ever need to be noisy.

I hate listening to some people - people who continue to talk for long periods of time despite being able to tell I'm uninterested in the topic etc, but I also enjoy really talkative people I do find interesting and appreciate their initiative to start conversations.

Idk. It depends on which sounds are welcomed/accepted and which are just noise.

Yes,I hate loud people who do not give a F about it in public, like they own this world.
Lads who make a lot of noise around me melt my head in.
However, when it comes to it, i really enjoy being around women who talk and joke around alot, who express their emotion loudly etc, its really attractive for some reason.
My neighbors are like that and it's really annoying, i don't even fathom how they can make so much noise all the time. If they are sitting outside, 20 meters away, a fence and a closed window in between, how can it be i can still follow the conversation? (and they always talk about uninteresting things) Hate it. Somehow they always seem to find new ways of making noise, like sorting bricks and empty glass bottles or just fighting over something, or even worse inviting more noisy people. More of them together seems like they are trying to out-noise eachother.

Nope. I can be fairly noisy myself. Sounds don't really bother me unless I'm trying to sleep, then I want it silent.
Yes... The thing is, I'm not sure if they are really loud. I think I'm suffering from hyperacusis.

ENTJ: HI!!! HOW ARE YOU???
Me: Deaf.
ENTJ: SORRY TO HEAR THAT!!! WHERE AND HOW DOES IT HAPPENED???

"Hate" is a bit too much. Noise annoys me at times but you shouldn't judge people by how loud they speak.
I HATE LOUD PEOPLE. In the internet Voldemort can command 10,000 voices but in real life 1 solid voice also he is incapable of doing it.
Very very much because I don't usually do any noises and talk very low... unless I'm drunk and I'm the one talking out laud.
It's funny, and I'll admit my own bias here: If someone is interesting and I respect/like them, all of a sudden their "loudness" turns into their "expressiveness" so I can appreciate it without a negative association. Which skews my view of what loud really means. These days, for me, it tends to refer to mostly people I dislike, even though it's typically the same distinction - the same way "different" is used as a complement while "weird" is used an insult with both meaning largely the same thing in a given context. So yes, I tend to dislike people if I label them as loud, but at the same time, they can be loud in ways I appreciate and I won't label them as it unless a comparison gets made with somewhat quieter people. Bias is so weird.

Yes, loud people really grate on me, especially when there's no reason for it. Why do they feel the need to talk louder than necessary? Is it some sort of insecurity that they need to know others are listening, like everyone within a half mile radius? I don't know, but I find it annoying.

I prefer someone loud over someone who cuts people when they talk.
Yes. In school, people would constantly talk just to fill the silence. Just..let..it..be..quiet.

I think some people avoid silence, because it brings them to reality in a way they're uncomfortable with.
Do I hate loud people?? Reely?? What the fuk does 'loud' have to do with it? I can't stand praktically any all people!!!
