Do you speak loudly?

I am often told by just about everyone I know that I speak loudly. To the point where people tell me to stop yelling. I don't always speak this loud; it only happens when I am excited about something or an idea usually. Does this happen to any of the rest of you?

Very much so. I am usually quite loud generally, and even louder when excited or in a stimulating debate.

My hearing is so sensitive, that I often have to tell people to stop yelling. I'm usually told that I need to slow down; the more excited I get, the faster I speak.

You would probably be a person to tell me to quiet down then.
Yeah, I'm usually the loudest in the room unless there's a black chick.

I'm pretty loud if you get me talking about something I'm interested in. I dont really know what it is. I've been working on this my whole life.

Yeah, I have people tell me to quiet down all the time to which I usually reply "THIS IS MY INSIDE VOICE!"

Eventually though the decibels of the guns and other explosive combined with the speakers at the clubs and concerts take their toll. I always swore that I'd be deaf by 30, and frankly I'm kinda surprised that I can hear as well as I can. It does give me a good excuse though, I don't talk that loud so you can hear me I talk that loud so I can hear me.
No, I hate people who talk loud for no reason. It's like a bunch of baboons clamoring over each other to see which one gets the sparkly rock.
I get shushed at libraries and people often tell me to stop yelling. I just tend to get really excited and start talking loudly and quickly. I don't even notice I'm doing it, but apparently it happens! Weird.

I'm sorry you don't like loud people. I think loud is more fun!

I really do not intend to be loud. It just happens by accident. But once someone tells me that I'm yelling then I realize and quiet down usually.
do you speak loudly?
Huh? What's that you say?

hahaha! That made me laugh.
My voice is naturally loud and projects easily (it's kind of low as well). But I also don't really try to control my volume, and am often told to turn down the volume.

I gave a presentation a few weeks ago and literally yelled the whole thing. But everyone paid attention and asked a lot of good questions afterwards, which was my goal.
Yeah, I'm one of the fast talkers, not so much loud. I have a really deep voice, so it tends to carry. I never needed to talk loud.
When I'm purposefully being ignored, yes.
And if I don't have a blow horn.
Only if I get really enthusiastic about what I'm saying, then I'll start yelling without noticing it. Otherwise I'm pretty quiet. Then again, I often say inappropriate things really loudly, and at the wrong times, so maybe I'm not as quiet as I think.

I'm just naturally loud. People hear me coming down the hall, around corners...across the quad.
Nah, not really. My voice is mid-range volume usually, unless I'm intentionally being goofy or something. I do talk waaay too fast though.

I also find I have this incessant need to keep explaining something to someone from different view points. This results in me talking a lot when the discussion is revolving around concepts. Throughout these conversations, I also start talking faster and more loudly. I haven't been rushed to the hospital yet due to it though, which is good.
