Hi, I'm here :) According to this, my order is Ne Ni Ti (tie between Te and Fi) Si Fe Se...idunno, is that order even possible?

Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)

extraverted Sensing (Se)* ***********************(21.3)

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

I was left with ENTP vs. INTP and ENFP vs. INFP. So...

Primary: ENFP
Subtype: ENTP

ENFP reporting for duty! And here are my results:

extraverted Sensing (Se) (33.6) -- good use
introverted Sensing (Si) (27.4) -- average use
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) (38.4) -- excellent use
introverted Intuiting (Ni) (23.2) -- limited use
extraverted Thinking (Te) (23.1) -- limited use

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.
If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTP, or INTJ
About the cognitive functions,they are right. I've problem dealing with Fi and Ti at the same time, and I confuse them often.

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

Very good...that was step 1. So your personal order of functions is Ne, Ni, Ti, Fi, Te, Si, Fe, Se.

All of the possible combinations are:
ESFJ=Fe, Si, Ne, Ti
ESFP=Se, Fi, Te, Ni
ENTP=Ne, Ti, Fe, Si
ENTJ=Te, Ni, Se, Fi
ENFJ=Fe, Ni, Se, Ti
ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si
ISTJ=Si, Te, Fi, Ne
ISTP=Ti, Se, Ni, Fe
ESTP=Se, Ti, Fe, Ni
ESTJ=Te, Si, Ne Fi
INTJ=Ni, Te, Fi, Se
INTP=Ti, Ne, Si, Fe
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te
ISFJ=Si, Fe, Ti, Ne
ISFP=Fi, Se, Ni, Te
INFJ=Ni, Fe, Ti, Se

Next, delete the types that have your last four either first or second.

Then, delete those that do not have one of your top four in them.

Here is mine:

If my function in order are Fi,Ne,Ti,Si,Fe,Te,Ni,Se. That narrows it down to only those that do not have Fe, Te, Ni, Se first or second and has Fi, Ne, Ti, or Si in the top four. That leaves:

ENTP=Ne, Ti, Fe, Si (missing Fi)
ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si (missing Ti)
INTP=Ti, Ne, Si, Fe (missing Fi)
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te (missing Ti)

Next stack together those that are missing the same letters like this:

ENTP=Ne, Ti, Fe, Si (missing Fi)
INTP=Ti, Ne, Si, Fe (missing Fi)

or
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te (missing Ti)
ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si (missing Ti)

Then refer back to your order of functions...my function in order are Fi,Ne,Ti,Si,Fe,Te,Ni,Se.

Finally pick one from each stack that fits the order the closest.
For example, INTP has a Ti that is too high for my order. So ENTP fits better.
ENFP fits well but I has a Te which is in my last four functions higher than the INFP. I also do not fit the ENFP silly switch descriptions and INFP is my primary type so I know it has to be this one of the two.

So I am INFP for my primary and ENTP for my subtype. If you want verification as to which one is primary and which one is your subtype, try Holly's tip for finding your type :)

What is your primary and subtype?

Woah, thanks! This is so cool! :D

Ne, Fe, Se, Fi ~ Si, Ti, Ni, Te

ESFP=Se, Fi, Te, Ni (Missing Ne, Fe)
ISFP=Fi, Se, Ni, Te (Missing Ne, Fe)
OR
ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si (Missing Se, Fe)
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te (Missing Se, Fe)

Hmmm, guess I'm primarily ENFP and my subtype is... ESFP...? :D

Not sure if I did this right or not, LOL. But this is so cool. Thanks so much for sharing this!

ENFP here! 8DD

Your Cognitive Development Profile
The forty-eight questions you rated earlier tap into the eight cognitive processes. Some questions tapped into basic or developed use of a process used by itself, while other questions tapped into use of multiple processes at once. The profile below is based on your responses. The number of squares indicate strength of response. The equivalent numeric is shown in parentheses along with likely level of development.

Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)
extraverted Sensing (Se) **************************** (28.5)

introverted Sensing (Si) ******************** (20.4)

Fe, Ne, Ni, Fi, Si, Te, Ti, Se

ESFJ
ENFJ
ENTP
ENFP
INFJ
INTJ
INFP
ISFP

So, the problem I run into here is that my four main preferences are all F and N... so that leaves all 8 below available for question.

Remaining

ENTP - Ne, Ti, Fe, Si (missing Fi, Ni)
ESFJ- Fe, Si, Ne, Ti (missing Fi, Ni)

ENFJ- Fe, Ni, Se, Ti (missing Fi, Ne)
INFJ- Ni, Fe, Ti, Se (Missing Fi, Ne)

ENFP- Ne, Fi, Te, Si (missing Fe, Ni)
INFP- Fi, Ne, Si, Te (Missing Fe, Ni)

ISFP- Fi, Se, Ni, Te (Missing Fe, Ne)
INTJ- Ni, Te, Fi, Se (Missing Fe, Ne)

Since my highest out of the top four are Fe and Ne, that would indicate that those types that are missing Fe AND Ne are not likely me. So that eliminates ISFP and INTJ (can we get a big fat duh there?)

Remaining
ENTP - Ne, Ti, Fe, Si (missing Fi, Ni)
ESFJ- Fe, Si, Ne, Ti (missing Fi, Ni)

ENFJ- Fe, Ni, Se, Ti (missing Fi, Ne)
INFJ- Ni, Fe, Ti, Se (Missing Fi, Ne)

ENFP- Ne, Fi, Te, Si (missing Fe, Ni)
INFP- Fi, Ne, Si, Te (Missing Fe, Ni)

.................

So can somebody actually help me here? My results would indicate likely that ENTP/ESFJ make the most sense because both types include Fe and Ne. Because my Fe scored slightly higher than Ne, and my Si is higher than my Ti... it would indicate that I'm an ESFJ.

o_O

ETA- The generic function test says I'm most likely ENFJ with ENFP subtype. Oy. >_<

Well my cognitive function results were pretty funky lol, here goes...

Order of Functions:
Ne Fi Ni Fe Se Ti Te Si

Step 5:
ENFJ=Fe, Ni, Se, Ti missing Ne Fi
ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si missing Ni Fe
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te missing Ni Fe
INFJ=Ni, Fe, Ti, Se missing Ne Fi

Step 6:
INFJ=Ni, Fe, Ti, Se missing Ne Fi
ENFJ=Fe, Ni, Se, Ti missing Ne Fi

ENFP=Ne, Fi, Te, Si missing Ni Fe
INFP=Fi, Ne, Si, Te missing Ni Fe

Based on this.... erm... I'd say my gut instinct is that I'm an ENFP with an INFJ subtype?

Interesting!

My cognitive function test results gave me this order:

Ne, Fi, Ni, Te, Fe, Se, Ti, Si.

...which, after I did what your instructions said, ended up saying I am an ENFP with a subtype of INTJ.

Well, I'm amused.
