Spain:
1. Almost impossible.
2. Quite common.
3. Very common in young people.
4. Impossible. Would say the less common right there(which sounds pretty good to the own 4s).
5. Almost impossible.
6. Very common as 6 is.
7. Probably the most common.
8. Not so common, but still.
9. Common as 9 is.

From my experiences of living in Australia our government and authorities are very or highly type 6-ish. Especially in how they approach things, to the point where we're a bigger or equal "nanny state" than UK. Teachers used to punish everybody in the classrooms within our schools collectively if they could not find the culprit, now it's not corporeal but the practice still goes on in many or several places. That concept as in, I have seen it almost used when getting to go into a scouts involved excursion and if somebody did not dob them in they would punish us together by doing the hold-up but gave up anyways.

When a few people misused laser pointers they banned ownership or buying of any laser pointers beyond 1mW from the whole population.

Airsoft, mace/pepper spray, self protection tasers(all illegal to buy/own) and carrying anything with self defence stated as a reason is illegal and not recognised as valid. It's not just guns that got banned but the nerf rival blasters from stores too. By the way if you own an airsoft gun its treated and dealt with literally under law as the same thing just as owning a real gun without a license, and equal charges including in jail sentences to that of owning a real gun are applied to you. All airsoft guns according to the law are to be treated by police in the same way to real guns, expect to be possibly shot if you point one at an officer who knows it is not a real gun.

Also self-defense is not considered a valid reason to apply for a gun license btw.

And guess who did that, a very conservative-in-ideology guy called John Howard. Why can't they focus on regulating for our financial security for a change instead of 'physical' solely? I am a type 6 too but I think this aspect is unnecessary and our "6" can be better focused on other matters. I agree with the new policy of being drunk and inside a pub being outlawed or smoking indoors being illegal though. Unless we are generally "7" but our government is very 6.

Not bashing here but for your info we actually have a very ISTx oritentated culture in practice here including in the main cities of Sydney and Melbourne or at least NSW/Sydney.

Our government or authority is very focused on preventing even the tiniest and slightest loose ends in everything they do.

Yes, the government is six orientated. However, Australia's cultural persona is ostensibly 7w8.

So just curious, your opinions on the "culture" of Sydney and Melbourne? Melbourne seems to have slightly more active INFP users than here in Sydney, MBTI and enneagram orientations for each? I grew up in Sydney personally and I'm a 6-INFP?

TBF, @Chara the entire world is pretty 6-ish. 3-6-9 are the most common types, anyway, being the center of the triads. So I can see Australia having a 7w8 persona, like @aus2020 suggested, but the reality is there's far more 6s than 7s, in Australia (As well as anywhere else)

Yes, it's often the government that determines the social dynamics of the city. Sydney vs Melbourne is most definitely a tale of two cities, where the two cities are going in completely opposite directions.

Population surge: Melbourne booms as locals leave Sydney

World’s most liveable city - Invest Victoria

According to Brent Massey, in the book 'Where in the world do I belong?', he says that Australia is ESFP and Sydney is ESTJ. A newspaper article that I read this year also said that Sydney is ESTJ and that Melbourne is a combination of ISTJ/ESTJ.

Sydney used to be known as the party capital of Australia, but ever since they have introduced the lockout laws in 2014, to curb alcohol related violence, I think that has done much to change the nature of Sydney.

I think that over time Sydney has transmogrified from a more optimistic ESFP 7, into a more pessimistic ESTJ 6 culture. Melbourne, with it's state english namesake, Victoria, used to be a very conservative ISTJ 1 culture, but that's changed over time into a more dynamic E/ISTJ 7 city. Melbourne was the last capital city to have a casino. The Melbourne cityscape and suburbs have changed so much over the last decade. You've also got the Australian Open, the F1 grand prix, the tallest tower in the southern hemisphere, Eureka tower and the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere, Chadstone, or as we here in Melbourne like to call it, Chaddy.

Venezuela: Heavy 8 or 3 government, the tritype would be 38x, most likely 378, with the wings it would be something like 3w2-7w6-8w7 so/sx. Society would be more 278, most specifically 2w3-7w8-8w7 sx/so. Heavy communitarianism, but emphasis (even excessive) on "fun" such as drinking, althought despite the communitarianism, "cunningly" screwing others for personal gain is even acceptable. The 8 would come from an obsession with being the "best country ever", to the point of even forgetting about the crisis because "muh tallest waterfall", "muh best (dirty btw) beaches!"

4s, 5s or 9s are frowned upon :'D

Whilst Trump is type 8 and although americans often like type 8's as president, the US originally started as type 1 and is now type 3.

Three-ness Gone Wild! Success and Achievement as America's Top Values

The enneagram institute previously had various comments about the US being a dysfunctional enneagram 3 society, but that has since been removed.

The media is the best representation of a society's persona and a society which places such a high value on tv/movie celebrities and reality tv shows is ostensibly an enneagram 3 culture.
