I'm very interested in using myers briggs and the enneagram for understanding people and for my own personal development. That's kind of why I've come here. I don't see myself much in the different stereotypes so after several mistypes (really miss thinking I'm a 7) I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably an ENTP 9 sp/sx.

so... Hi! :proud: Any other ENTP 9s out there?

Welcome:kitteh:

I'm not an entp 9 but I think there is at least one or two that I've seen around the entp forum :)

WELCOME!

Not a 9, but I'm an ENTP! You could be a 9 with 7 in your tritype. We can get into that later. How you doing? What you into? Where you from?

Thanks! I'm great! I'm from Sweden and like to play music when I'm not reading or talking about personality types and personal development. I'm interested in spiral dynamics now that I'm starting to understand the enneagram and myers briggs. Might go into socionics too just to understand what people here are talking about. I guess there's not much talk about spiral dynamics here though since there are no different personality types, more like different stages of one type. Am I right?

About my enneagram type. I find tritypes extremely confusing and haven't found any reliable theory behind them but maybe I just haven't found the right places yet.. Anyway, I prefer the subtypes described by Beatrice Chestnut but I wouldn't mind getting information from other sources.

How are you doing?

I'm great! I live in the USA. Some of my ancestors come from Varmland, Sweden.

Tritype theory simply says you have one type in each the heart, head, and mind types. Your core type is dominant, then your next, then your next. Like me, I'm a 5w6, then an 8w7, then a 4w5. There's a whole thread dedicated to the 27 combinations of tritypes. It's in the Enneagram section.

I'll have to look into that spiral dynamics. It looks like a larger version of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to me. Personality types have stages too, I look at them as outlines, you still get to color them in any way you like (and you even get to pick the colors).

Hej Myrra!

An INTP here. Haven´t really got to the Enneagram stuff yet but I test as type 5 with 6 as wing. Wohoo, the easy kind!!
But, type 9 is also a close call. So it´s a bit undecided as of now!

Would be nice to get to know more Swedes interested in MBTI (and life). Hör av dig om du vill!

I'm a Turbulent ENTP still leaning INTP still (never 100%), with Enneagram 4 sx/sp myself so I'm a rather odd snowflake myself not fitting stereotypes so I get what you mean!

Welcome to the forums btw fellow ENTP 9 :) Pleasure
