Trying to be more sympathetic, warm, caring, sharing, proactive, productive, spontaneous, fun, accepting, trusting, cooperative, harmonious.

Trying to be less of a procrastinator, perfectionist, critic, know-it-all, talker, taker, skeptic, thinker.

Raised by perfectionist, alcoholic, abusive, under achieving parents. Self diagnosed with OCPD (personality disorder where you are way too picky, think your way is the only way etc.) but aware of it so there is some hope.

Married to a loving ESFJ who gives me the support, time and space to work on so many things without pressure. Without her I'd be lost.

Basically trying to give me warmer, human side a chance by not saying things when they pop into my mind, but counting to a million :D

Looking for help, and happy to give it where I can.

Hello, I'm not going to pretend I know anything but it looks like you are trying to force yourself to be someone you are not.
Perhaps the solution lies elsewhere and you become naturally more humble once you feel happier with your self and your life. I find that any spite and need to be right is a defense mechanism when I feel threatened.
btw I see what you did there with your user name ;)

I agree we should not deny who we are. I hope to guard against those behaviors that do me disservice while dealing with others. Think of it as personality deodorant.

Also ENTP's are typically into self improvement so in a way I am embracing my type.
