I love Kay Nielsen if he counts! He did some things for Disney too I think, but he was a golden age illustrator. I've had a number of avatars of his artwork. They're just so delicate and lovely, and I love the fantasy, too!

And recently I discovered (thank you pinterest feed) Yoshitaka Amano, and I've really been enjoying his work too. Some of his that I like a lot, including my current avatar:

I love the colors used, the lighting (I love any piece that glows or plays with light) and the overall mystical quality about them.

The only one that springs to mind for me personally is Chiara Bautista. I love the narrative aspect to her work.

This artist isn't really fantasy, but it is otherworldly, and I like a lot of his paintings. German painter, Wenzel Hablik. I see the Ni in them.
