Have at it ENTJ's. Post your favorite music. Not just music you pleasantly enjoy, but music that resonates with your core and that you will never get sick of.

I'll go first:

- Bob Dylan
- Mozart
- Beethoven
- Bach

(Some 80's hits for bubblegum every now and again).
Ill list genres since I cant really list bands, theres too many

Classic rock (late 70s era/early 80s)
Classical or Modern Piano (Chopin and Philip Glass are favorites)
Some techno
Ambient
Rock and roll/metal (older groups and some modern)
Some hip hop

Im pretty all over the place with music.

Which hip-hop?

Glass is amazing.

On the piano side give Erik Satie a go (and Bob Dylan of course heh).

My favorite music includes:

One Love- Bob Marley
Love Train- Soul Train
Thriller- Michael Jackson (Don't hate, the man had talent back in the day)
Through The Fire And Flames- Dragonforce
Like A Boss- The Lonely Island
Stylo- The Gorillaz (They actually made a music video w/ bruce willis in it, that's just hilarious )
Purple Haze- Jimi Hendrix
Get Back- Ludacris
Move Bitch- Ludacris (These two songs are great to listen to when you're really pissed off)
Ring of Fire- Johnny Cash

I could actually keep going with this list but it'd take up way too much space and time to do that...

I will, I havent heard him before.
Glass is very amazing. I love Pruit Igoe, and Mad Rush. Probably my two favorite songs by him.

Hip hop: Madvillain, Quasimoto, People Under The Stairs
For hip hop I generally put Madvillain on Pandora and every artist on that station I usually like.
I am picky with my music. I quickly grow bored of simple melodies, lyrics and beats. I can only really listen to classical music and progressive trance for longer periods of time. Other tunes might be good at first, but I grow weary of them in a few days.

Probably the best pieces of progressive trance ever made. I could spend forever listening to this. Every time you listen to it, you find something new.

This song by Aestetic Perfection kind of gets to me. Beautiful voice, and a great melody.

Also, Icon of Coil, Covenant and Wumpscut are superior bands.

And when it comes to Hip Hop, there is none better than the Sage.

I have an honest question. What do people find so interesting about trance music?

also jazz, blues and indie rock ;)
Everything.

Literally.

I usually listen to the music (individual instruments) more than lyrics though.

And I tend not to like shallow music which tends to be modern, pop music and some rap.

I like instrumental music. I listen to other genres, but I always gravitate and go back to instrumentals. I'd very much rather not have any words at all in my music, but it's hard to come across instrumentals these days. I would tolerate words if they're sung by powerful voices such as Cristina Aguilera's, Alicia Keys', or Leona Lewis' or Cher's. Even then, it's the voice I am listening to, not the words.

I will listen to literally anything on the radio and probably find something in it to appreciate.

But the hands-down go to music that just acts like a meditation point that I will go to whenever I need it is Depeche Mode. OH MY GOD I <3 Depeche Mode so much its retarded.
