If you give me your address.

Soo here I go again trying to find my type.. Your help would be much appreciated!

1) What do you yearn for in life? Why?

Happiness, ‘cause then life would be easier.

2) Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.

For one second I managed to feel very content with myself and my life.
I don’t know the cause behind it – my feelings are irrational.

3) What makes you feel inferior?

My own emotions and when other people's emotions affect me and also expressing strong emotions.

To put it simply: EMOTIONS.

4) What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)

I think about how I will feel about a decision in the future since I have a tendency to get bored with things and don’t always stick to my decisions (unless I really have to) if I lack the motivation. So therefore it’s important to make sure that I will most likely stick to the decision I make.

I also consider what decision will be the most useful to me in the future. And I look at pro and cons too I guess.

Plus, if it's a decision based on a long-term commitment (like starting a new school) I want to make sure that I’ll enjoy it.

5) When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?

I try to get the best possible result.
I don’t like working with other people a lot since it’s hard for me to depend on others - I'm afraid they'll mess something up or not being competent enough.
I also don’t like compromising my ideas if I think mine are better than someone else's.

6) Describe us a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?

I guess some kind of “sensory experience” where I would fully connect with the world around me and just completely live in the moment (and also forget about all my worries).
Doing that is very hard though and it usually requires another person who has a very "developed" Se.

7) When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you? (Are you more prone to be hands on, to theorize, to memorize, etc)

I hate memorizing. It’s not fun having to repeatedly read about something until you've memorized it.
Theorizing is something I enjoy a lot. There doesn’t have to be an answer but I simply just enjoy speculating about things.

The best way for me to learn would be to first be given the big picture (preferably by having someone talking about it while writing down short notes on a whiteboard or something) and then dig deep into details if needed.

I have a lot of questions too so I guess having someone who knows a lot about the subject and that could answer all my questions would be great. I want direct and concise answers.
However, there are often times when I don’t feel like talking to other people and then just reading about the subject would be good (while taking notes so that I get the information into my head better since I don't trust my memory... My memory might not be that bad though..).

8) How organized do you to think of yourself as?

Well, I try to be organized but I’m usually too lazy to keep up with it.
If I'm done using an object, I can literally put it anywhere even if it's on the floor.

9) How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?

Most of the time I’ll be a bit critical and skeptic because I want to see if it makes sense or not. That kind of happens automatically, whether I like it or not…

10) You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?

I find harmony by accepting things as they are, especially myself. I have a hard time with acceptance in general to the point where it’s sometimes a little bit immature.
Reasons for this: I won't accept things as they are. No way. If I don't like it then why would I accept it? (I know why, these are just my feelings "speaking"). And most of all, I want to change it. Or even better, having someone else changing it for me.

11) Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?

I guess I do both but I prefer thinking before speaking.
Discussions with one person or a small group is way better than discussing things with many people. I obviously want to get my voice heard as much as possible but I can't do that as much if I'm with a bigger group.
Also: bigger group = higher risk of "having to" listen to people who don't have anything interesting to say.

12) Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?

I hate doing things on impulse so I’d definitely want to know “where I am” before acting.
Words are very easy to play around with so I don’t trust them as much as I trust actions.

13) It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?

It depends on my mood but there have been many times when I’ve preferred to stay home.

14) How do you act when you're stressed out?

If I’m with other people when I’m stressed I’ll most likely take out my stress on them. It’s not really “intentionally”, I just lose control over myself.
My stress can sometimes end in a mental breakdown (not in front of others) if it’s really severe.

15) What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?

I don’t like it when people are shallow and care a lot about status and such.
It’s also really annoying when people try to invade my privacy. Oh, and disrespect (which kind of goes hand in hand with people invading my privacy) is a huge one.

There are of course more but those are some of the main ones I could think of.

16) Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?

Philosophy, ideas, theories.

17) What kind of things do pay the least attention to in your life?

Sleeping and eating… and also exercising. Basically anything that's good for me haha..

18) How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality ?

How they perceive me: funny, smart, creative, artistic, “special” (they defined this as “going my own way”..), sarcastic, very stubborn and not afraid to speak my mind.

Their perception of me is pretty accurate.

Words they would never describe me as: status-oriented, social butterfly, “too nice” and I can’t think of more.

19) You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?

It really depends on my mood but it’d be nice to spend a day with people (or one person) I really like and filling it with lots of different things like: going somewhere (to the theatre, a café or something), discussing interesting things and just having fun. And then at the end of the day I’d like spending some time alone.

You remind me a lot of myself, but anywhoozle, you are an INTP. Voila.

1. Inferior Fe: You consider emotions "irrational" and it drains your energy to listen to people that "don't have anything interesting to say".
2. Auxiliary Ne: We know you are introvert, so that leaves Ne to become your aux. Ne is present for the obvious reasons: your attraction to abstract concepts of thought and lack of sensual energy.
3. Dominant Ti: Your natural skepticism is not only due to Ne, but also due to Ti wanting to understanding the core of every idea and word that you hear. I would know. ;)

I guess natural skeptics doubt their type quite often. I'd say you are a type 6 in enneagram like me too, but even I am skeptical about that. lol

I never really contemplate like I've heard that Ti-doms do. I don't have to think about something for a long time, it literally takes me at least under 1 min to come to a conclusion (except if it has something to do with "self-discovery" - MBTI...). And usually I don't think a lot at all (I just imagine or day-dream) because I've already processed everything.

Maybe Ti-doms can do this? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Another thing I'd like to point out is Ti vs Te. I love planning and want people to "cut to the chase" and just get things done. I also don't mind being the leader (I actually enjoy it sometimes).
There are definitely some things that makes me think that I use Te instead of Ti.

Yes, you're right, I'm a 6 :) Even though you provided some good point I'm still skeptical haha.

If it would give some more insight my enneagram tritype is: 6w5-3w4-1w9.

I'd say Fi-Ne or Si-Fe. (INFP or ISFJ)
Considering you're a six, and you use Ti, I'd say ISFJ.
Now about those cookies...

That's interesting. What made you think of me as a Si dom or having "high" Fe or Fi?

I'll give you cookies if you give me your address. You know.. So I can send them to you.. >.>

Well, you talked a lot about feelings and such, and even though they seem to confuse you, in my experience, T's don't really acknowledge them as much. That's why I think F. As for Si, you seem to enjoy things that you already know you'll enjoy, and not so much new experiences. I'd say you're ISFJ, but I might be wrong. That's my two cents. Also, are you serious about the cookies...?

What the hell? Just like spicytea, I am a little stricken by the thought that you believe her to be a strong Fe or Fi user.

If someone is a strong Feeler, they are more likely to understand what they are feeling as versus to a strong Thinker. I am just not really picking up the Feeler vibes here.

In addition to my support for INTP, she even indicates her desire for competence in her response to question 5 regarding others on a team. The NT temperament is all about competence and intellectual stimulation.

Definitely consider the temperaments that you are setting spicytea in: the NFs (which is more likely) and the SJs (which is way off for her). I say let's let her decide for herself (with the exclusion of SJs because that is ridiculous - sorry).

I'm pretty aware that there is more than stereotypes in personality theory. Read more of my posts and you will realize that.
well. Let's not get all upset people. Be chill.
IMHO, you seem to be INTJ.
First of all... did I miss that @Tru7h is a fellow Keirsey-ite? Delightful. I spent many years as a Please Understand Me II road-warrior. The Book of Eli, it was.

Anyway... nostalgia aside: There is no way in hell that our dear @spicytea is an INTP. Not once, not never. It will take some doing to convince me she is anything other than a dynamic, intelligent, fun, creative, thoughtful, friendly, authentic, principled, inquisitive:

ISFP

So, spicy:

Fi: Deep roiling ambiguous emotions. A deep dark sea of them... if you let that ocean crash around in your for a long while and never try to suppress it or let other people beat it down, it will be a calm endless expanse in a few years and you will be quite wise. That's just how it goes. Fi does not feel at one with their emotions until they are older and I get the feeling you are fairly young. You just gotta let all those damnedable emotions work themselves out and don't rush it. It will be a treasure trove someday. Young Fi can really struggle, however, especially ones who are brave enough to really hold onto this struggle even if it makes them feel stupid or they are made to feel stupid for it.

Se: I can't emphasize enough that Se is not jocks and salesmen. Se is seeing the world as fluid and changing, words as fluid, people as fluid. Some people get a good handle on this and, like Neo in the Matrix, start to bend objects and people to their will with nuance and cleverness. Some bend their own bodies to this will... and so you have jocks, and salesmen. But, you also have artists, composers, scientists, those men and women who have been to space and to the bottom of the sea. You have a dreamer, lying on the beach breathing in the air or just spending time with friends in the warmth of intelligent conversation. Depth of experience. Kinesthetics: learning by doing. Reliance on evidence and common sense...

Ni: In a healthy psyche, Ni is in a supporting role to Se. It takes that depth of experience and injects it with inner will. Ni pushes Se to be more discerning with ideas, to question the easy answers we are often being fed about life. Ni expands Se in it's ability to see nuance and connections in seemingly mundane things. This is the final necessary piece to the ISFP artist. Don't take any concept at face value... because if you peel back the facade and connect the hidden dots, you realize that so many things are just smoke and mirrors. As this develops you will see the ISFP beginning to become more and more ideological - and starting to take stands.

Te: In the inferior position, Te isn't going to get a ton of air time. Fi will use it to give itself a voice... which is why when emotions are spoken, they are often yelled. Te is the way ISFPs make judgement of the world around them. So, it's fair to say that ISFP doesn't often make judgments of the world around them. ISFP doesn't like to compare people or gossip, etc. They don't even like to boss people around. However, sometimes they wish they could... typically, when something comes up that requires Te.... Se is going to pick up the slack and Te will use it to get itself across. ISFP, therefore, will 'boss' people with cleverness and playfulness, more inclined to trick or coax the world around them. If that fails, and the situation is very critical... Se might fail... and Fi might fail..... and as cognition collapses, a cornered ISFP is going to suddenly tear people a new one or at least go on a righteous tirade. As the ISFP gets older and Te gets stronger, they will come to be relied upon as a great judge of the world around them.

Okay... so, if you think any of that applies to you, I'd like to know.

A good analogy of ISFP is a singer-songwriter... the vast majority of which as ISFP. They grow up breathing in the nuances of life, tend to love nature and animals and feel somewhat cynical about the world but happy to meet people... wanting to talk about interesting things on all sorts of subjects... the ugly mess of their emotions is picked up with Se engaged and Ni abstracted perception... and the result is music that is quite charming and and great experiences are had as they really try to become the best at what they do. ISFPs are serious about virtuosity. As they get older the lyrics get more ideological. Ever notice how bands mature and their music becomes more applicable to causes and the message becomes more clear? ISFPs tapping into Ni. Also, how serene and clever but then suddenly just gotta -scream- a bit? Yeah.

I don't know why I read this? Oh yeah, cookies.

I get an INTP vibe from you. You did describe doing things based on feeling/mood a lot, but in general you like to talk about interesting things, speculate, and do things only when you know what you're getting into and your privacy is protected. Yeah, I'd say INTP.

... or maybe ISFP. o_O I don't know. Your emotions and speculation is confusing.

Yeah, I got way more of an Fi dominant feel from you. Don't really get the sense of anything Ti related at all. I just get the sense that you're guided by your subjective evaluations. I originally thought ISFP, but you may even be an INFP.
I keep thinking 'J' because you hate to be impulsive, need to know what you're getting in to. I'm still leaning towards INTJ, but other people are saying INTP. My advice is to study the cognitive stackings of both and go from there. Good luck!
Ah. Who the hell knows but spicy herself? Just choose what feels right to you, sista.

I realized that being honest and putting my emotions out there would provide the best results. And this is the internet, no one know who I am so it's fine.

Inferior Te is not something I can picture myself having. It's really exciting to make plans sometimes (one part of Te I guess) and I don't get drained by it.

I also know an ISFP and whenever I'm trolling people on fb she quite often says "no, don't send that it might hurt their feelings!", while I didn't even think about that.

Also, I can't see how people can find nature so "beautiful". My attitude towards it is pretty much like: "it's just a tree.. Have you never seen a tree before?". Just pure indifference and also fascination towards people who do like it.

Is that the only reason you think I might be an INTJ? Looking at the cognitive functions can you still picture me as one?

I know, I was just trying to see if I might be an Fi-Se "user".
Isn't Se about wanting new experiences also? I, for example, don't like travelling at all because I just can't bring myself to see what's so fun about it. Generally, Se "activites" don't appeal to me very much.

Why do you think I'm a J?

Anyways, looking at the temperaments there's no way I could see myself as being a SP or SJ.

There is definitely as difference between me and my SP and SJ friends.
