My first relationship was with an INTP and I have a couple of INTP close friends from college. I adore 'em!
ENFPs are the sunshine in my life lol.
And I also dearly love my INFPs.

One of my best friends IRL is an INFJ and we believe we're soulmates. I have a couple more online. <3
My sister is an INTJ and she does balance me out and my emotions.
I've got one ENTP friend whom I also adore but we're now geographically apart.
Then I have an ESTJ friend who's willing to go to great lengths for me and his friends.

(I'm not so sure about the types of my other friends.)

I definitely have the deepest connections with my INFJ and INTP friends and especially with my INTJ sister. :)

i only know two friend's mbti types. an esfj (my exish-bf)and an istp though the istp tested a second time and got a totally different outcome that i can't remember. i think istp is probably a good description. the istp has really good taste in music. he's like the god pan to me. he gets crazy when he drinks though he's like a gremlin, can't get them wet.

Like 80% of my core friend group are INFPs. We have a similar creative, peaceful energy, but I like the way my INFP friends put their vibe out there.

I'm close with 1 other INFJ, and I love him to death but it's almost hard to hang out with him for too long alone. It's too... frictionless. I feel a little repulsed in the exact way a magnet would be.

Then there is a smattering of INTPs and INTJs outside of the core. My younger brother is an INTJ.
One known ESFJ. One or two ENTPs/ENFPs.

My best friend (and partner) is an ENTP.

I think what binds us all together is that we value introspection, thoughtfulness, relationships and art + science. We each have our own projects going, separately or together. There's a lot of emotional support to be had and plenty of interesting ideas to share. We bring logic and emotion out of each other in a balanced way. We respect each other's differences.

We weren't always like this -- we have been friends a long time, some of us since we were 5 yrs old, so we've had time to learn how to make space for each other and work stuff out. If someone with strong/domineering energy doesn't know how to "read the room," we can get along with them but they will be marked as dangerous ;]

Well, let me tell what it's like from the other side. I'm an ENTJ and my best friend is an INFJ and I guess I'm her best friend. What I can say is that she's AWESOME. But the only problem is that there aren't more of her. I've met other INFJs, but there are still too few of you people. Where can I find more of you? I would need 1 INFJ girlfriend, about 4-5 INFJ friends and 3 INFJ coworkers...

Most of my friends are other NF types. This makes sense, you are likely to get along with types inside of your temperament the best

I also quite like ISFJs and ISTJs

@alittlebird I love your avatar!! (I know that is off subject, but I find that ISFP's like cute things and we share that in common) AND @Lucan1010 your avatar is hilarious too!! Okay, back to the topic... OKAY, so I have a new question for you all... what amount of tolerance do you have for liars? For example, I know that people defend lying in all sorts of ways (ie. they were embarrassed! or They thought you'd never find out!) ... but at what point when you catch someone repeatedly lying are you like... okay look... we cannot hang out in the same tribe anymore because trust is important. (Small things indicate that there could be issues with lying about big things as well in the future.) In my experience the ones who tend to lie to me are the Perceivers and the Sensors. Sometimes the Sensors don't even know what the truth is (ie. claim to be good, but are doing something very evil)
It depends, usually I'll forgive a little white lie (because nobody's perfect), but trust is a pretty big deal for me. I don't tolerate habitual or big lies though, and I especially don't like when I catch someone lying and they deny they are.

@Leahomme thanks :) I can resist anything but foxes. I mean look at this:

I do not like liars. Although I can tolerate one or two lies, if the situation warrants it (like it's a white lie), I tend to avoid such people. And it's not just lying... I generally do not get along with superficial, flaky people.

As a rule I try not to lie... but as a result, I sometimes end up avoiding something (that I'm uncomfortable with sharing or otherwise) entirely. Like, I'd just say I don't want to talk about it.

I seem to attract INFPs in my life. 90% of my friends are INFPs! I also know many ENFPs but they usually take a long time to like me and sometimes we don't understand each other because of Ni/Ne and Fi/Fe differences.
