I start back to school in two days. I am taking some really intense business-related classes this semester. If I post on the forums less, it's because I'm probably doing something school-related in addition to working at my job. Maybe the classes will make a liar out of me and they'll be easier than I thought, but somehow I doubt it. Either way, if I'm here just as much, then disregard this message. If I'm not, it's because I'm busy with school.

same here- I am taking an indefinite leave of absence after this weekend, but most likely it will be forever.
Sorry to hear that. I should have been clearer in my own post. I'll still be here, but I may not be posting as much as normal. I have no intention of going away; I enjoy the company here far too much.

Here are the classes that I will be taking this semester:
- Principles of Employment
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Benefits Administration
- Labor Relations

What classes are you taking this term?

I will be participating a lot less too. My Year 12 exams are in 2 months and so I am guessing my contribution to these forums will go down to a minimum (even though I haven't been around for that long:blushed:).

My posting amounts will be down as well in about 2 weeks. I have my last year of required U.S. education before university(12th grade) coming up, and with 3 IB courses and 2 AP courses on my schedule, I can't really split my focus very well.

Don't worry petals of stone, you aren't the only one.

Wishing you all of the best in your studies. This year will be difficult for me in a different sense. SWMBO is doing her internship this year (just left this morning for her first day) so I will be fulfilling more of the roles that she no longer has time for, in addition to working full time. But this is the last year to complete her bachelor's, so I'm happy for her.

Yeah, I understand, I have a lot of hard classes too, so I doubt I will be on here much (except during break!). And also applying to graduate school will be a big responsibility. I have to take abstract algebra, real analysis, federal tax, and business communitcaton classes as well as work on my independent study. Oh well! I wish you the best of luck in studying for your classes!

Totally understandable, Sela. Good luck with all those classes! Mine started today too. So far I've had Introductory Biblical Hebrew, History & Systems of Psychology, and Studies in Pauline Theology/Literature. Tomorrow is Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, and Experimental Psychology with a lab later in the week. Shew. If ever I doubted my ISTJ-ness...starting a new semester always brings it right back out in the open.

Same here- university just started today. Although I will probably find some time to just lurk around here... I love lurking. ^_^
Oh yeah, I should probably post my classes. I am a chemistry major, but I am also minoring in both english and philosophy. Classes: Intro to Psychology (GE), Philosophy: Moral Questions (GE & philosophy minor), English: Mythology and Folklore (for english minor), Organic Chemistry lecture, and OChem lab. Fun stuff.
Good luck to everyone in their education endeavors! :D

I am actually taking condensed summer classes before school starts in the fall [my university is on the quarter system so we start later]. Right now I am taking Nonverbal communication and Family communication... I forget what I signed up for in the fall... I think it includes Health communication, Communication and Gender, A Peace and Conflict Communication class, and one more class I forget what I signed up for- not very ISTJ-like for me to forget... but yeah I may come back to lurk too... I learn a lot here. I will miss all of my PerC friends though  :crying:

Wow...I didn't realise so many of us will be busy in some kind of studies or other duties.
Well, good luck to everyone!
I wonder with so many people busy how would the ISTJ forum run....Probably the same since more members that were previously busy will come in...
The subjects I am doing (in School) are: Chemistry, Physics, Specialist Maths, Maths Methods, English Language and Hindi (Maths, Sciences, Languages)

I have college starting up again next week. I won't be here as often, but I'll probably find plenty of time to procrastinate! Classes: Syntax, Semantics, German History, and Understanding the Fairy Tale (Linguistics major, German minor).

Be glad it's not the NF forums--they're pushing 6,000 threads! The SJ forums are currently less than 1,000 threads.

My OSHA class is SO messed up. It's supposed to be an 8-week course, and the course materials list it as that (as does the campus site) but my syllabus lists it as a 16-week course. This is a bad thing, as I have two OTHER 8-week courses starting in October, and there's no way I can do three classes at once that are so intensive. On top of that, we are required to upload a copy of our First Aid/CPR certificates (or obtain them); when I did, it gave me an error and won't let me resubmit it, and the professor isn't replying.

<--- panic mode already

That's funny; my boss said that I'd make an excellent OSHA inspector. I assume that she means I'd do it well (and possibly whip everyone else into shape!).

The professor finally emailed me back. She asked me to email it to her, but I already tried that and it didn't work. Emailed her the fact that it didn't work, and am awaiting a reply. I'm sure that we can work something out. I've got a little bit of time before it's "due". She also replied re: the 8-wk vs. the 16-wk issue and is going to take it up with the program chair (even though I KNOW I read the information right and 13 other students can't be wrong).
