Thats a great poem
heres one of mine
I'm being tugged between two forces
The want to stay young
To stay the same
To see the beings flit through the trees
To sense the magic in the air
And the nature to mature
To grow old
In mind
In body
For imagination to dwindle
For a steady common sense to replace
I'm stuck in a game of tug o' war
Slowly being torn in half
But I'm determined to win this war
For imagination to prosper
To stay the way I always have
Most have already lost this battle
Therefore I am alone
For their minds have closed up
Things unknown they don't except
Nor do they consider them
But I welcome the things unknown
My mind is open to see them
The fairlings small
The scaled ones tall
For I am winning this tug o' war
