SCHOLAR

Scholars are intellectuals that pay attention to fine details. They spend a lot of time in their mind investigating and exploring new ideas. They usually like to pair their findings with data that can back it up. Scholars are very orderly in their thought processes. They usually prefer structure in their ideas and thoughts over ambiguity.

What were those careers?

You're lucky your compatibility matches showed up, the site hasnt been showing anyone elses.

I tried taking the test, but they started maintenance while I was taking it

Not sure if I've got the perseverance to sit through it if it made me start it over, but the careers it gave me when it kicked me out where along the lines of lyricist, music producer, fashion designer and a couple of other things.

Edit : Finally finished it, but kept the original post because I like "see kids, that's why we can't have nice things...." moments.

Top 5 Careers

  1. Sound Recorder
  2. DJ

This test just confirms what everything else says. I'm too all over the place to neatly fit into a stereotype or anything specific.

It made me start over too when I was re-taking it. Its sort of long so I'd suggest you do it when you have the time. If those are the career recommendations then I wouldn't really go by them bc I dont think they are even based on your answers/results. So I would wait till the matches show up with the compatibility to the careers.

Yeah, there were no issues with the system when I took the test this afternoon. Worked fine.

I started out in Electronics Engineering and I'm moving into Finance/Business Management.

I just re-took the test & apparently the site works fine now.

My results came out slightly different.

(Which I think suits me more than what I previously had gotten, even though that also suited me.)

an Anchor
Anchors have an affinity for detail-oriented tasks that provide a lot of structure. Despite this typically antisocial activity, the Anchor is nurturing and caring. They enjoy being around other people where they they can help or teach. Anchors are efficient and methodical. They prefer work that is structured and they dislike ambiguity.

Interests:
Social Sciences

Law

Family Activity

Adventure

Healthcare Service

Matches:
Top 5: (top 2 came out flipped last time)

Lawyer 100% (last time this was #2, I have thought about being a lawyer but I don't think I would make a good one)
Psychiatrist 99.8% (I plan to pursue this)
Clinical Psychologist - 99.5%
Securities and Commodities Broker - 99.3% (Never in a million years)
Skincare specialist - 99.2% (I also had gotten this in my previous results, but I don't think I would really like this job)

Editor isnt in the top ones but I think I would also enjoy that job.

Bottom 5 are all military & agriculture related.

I'm a double major in Film Production and Psychology with a minor in "Philosophy and the Arts" and I intend to go to graduate school for Psychology to become a therapist.. as well as continue to work in the film industry. My career suggestions reflected that.

If you go to your matches section there will be a large list of suggestions with compatibility percentages next to them. You're likely to find careers in that list that suit your interest more and are above 90% compatibility. They just didn't make it into the initial showing of careers. You can click "interested" and they will be reflected on your profile.

Mine is:

Hands On, Prefers individual work, Values Independence

Innovators are best at using mindful action in their work. They like to work with a hands-on approach prefaced by deep thought. They have strong cognitive and dexterous capacities that allow them to solve practical problems. Innovators tend to analyze situations before making major decisions on execution. They are independent thinkers that are both curious and insightful. When Innovators put their minds to solving a problem or building something, nothing will stop them.

Well so far I have taken this test 3 times (just to see how consistent it is).

I have gotten Scholar twice (at night time, falling asleep, speed running through the test) and Dreamer once (during the day, taking it slowly, wide awake).

So far there are 3 careers that have stayed in the top 5 after all 3 tests.

Mathematician has ranked 1st one time and has stayed at 4th two times.
Television Writer has stay in 2nd all three times.
Automotive Service Technician has stayed in 3rd twice and once in 4th.

After that...

I've gotten Author twice in 1st place, Lyricist once in 3rd and once in 5th, Audio Engineer once in 5th, Conservation Scientist once in 5th.

As far as the interests goes they have remained the same in the same order.

Technical Writing
Mathematics
Creative Writing & Journalism
Green Industry (I believe that this wouldn't be an interest if the world would have a green industry)
Family Activity (I actually clicked neutral for everything family related so I don't know about this one)

My feelings on this test:

"Yea that's about right ..."
