I'm new here, so I thought I'd say hello.
Hello.
I was introduced to the MBTI about three years ago, and I resonate very deeply with many aspects of the INFP archetype. Even though I've rather often thought of myself as somewhat of a prototypical INFP, I don't always wholly fit the mold, and I don't really believe everyone in the world can be neatly sorted into personality types -- but I do feel they can be rather useful tools in helping to understand common traits (and perhaps not-so-common combinations of common traits) and fostering an understanding of ways in which other people operate differently than one's self, and to help individuals gain a better (although certainly not perfect) understanding of themselves.
I've been lurking about for a few days, and I've read some interesting things, so I decided to sign up.
