Hello ISTJ's! What is the highest level of education that you have completed as of right now? Advanced professional degrees (MD, JD, DO, etc.) are considered doctorate-level for the purposes of this poll.

If you're wondering what I intend to do with the results, check out my blog post here: MBTI Correlation Project - Blogs - PersonalityCafe

Tag me or quote me if you want to get my attention on this thread. If there's an option you would like to select, but isn't available, let me know and I'll enter your information manually if possible.

Thanks in advance for responding!

@Randroth I currently a high school senior. I plan to go to college to get some type of medical degree. (Was thinking of becoming a chiropractor.) So, picked high school since I am still in it. I felt obliged to mention it…

Wouldn't age skew the results and limit the usefulness of the data?

If you compare the data of (5) 17-yr olds (all reporting high school as the highest currently)
to (5) 30-yr olds (1 reporting college and 4 reporting high school as the highest currently)

How would you know that the two data sets are not identical just in different periods of their life?

I would think the question would be better suited to be, "What education level have you completed or you reasonably expect to complete?"

@Randroth - Yep, I was thinking the same thing. These polls could very well just be testing the average age of users on this site. Haha. I don't know how to improve the question, besides just asking people over 25 or something.
@Calisai @MBTI Enthusiast

You certainly aren't the only ones bringing that point up. At first I had assumed that any differences in average age between the types would be slight and that the poll would still accurately reflect differences in educational level. However, I'm realizing now that that's a very big assumption to make and that even if it was a valid assumption this poll wouldn't really give all that clear of a picture of educational differences because of the sheer number of people that are close to finishing a degree or diploma. Plus King of Dreams pointed out that I didn't have any options for Votech and the like.

Due to these points, I'm going to be posting in all of the other polls that while the polls will remain open, I won't be using the data from them for my project and I'll be posting a new thread on the subject at some point in the future. The new polls will have options like "Completed high school, not pursuing further education," "Completed high school, pursuing associate's degree," etc.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. I'm a Software Developer by profession.
