America’s most popular voting guide for elections, political issues, candidates, and poll data

92% Green Party
89% Democratic Party
62% Socialist
59% Libertarian
20% Republican

Mostly curious how much of political parties are upbringing and how much of them are just your type and enneagram. I think most young people will side with Democrat and most IxTPs will have some naturally Libertarian tendencies. Most non Americans will side pretty heavily with Socialism regardless tho.

Which political party is the epitome of INTP?

Republicans 72%
Constitution Party 68%
Democrats 65%
Conservative Party 62%
Green Party 58%
Libertarians 56%
Socialist 19%
That makes sense, especially for a person that runs 2 businesses lol

I wonder if there will be certain parties that IxTPs will always side with.

I'm a slightly left leaning centrist according to this study. Honestly, I'd classify myself as an independent. I can't justify siding with any of these parties. I support autonomy in decision making, safety for the public, retaining historical allies on the international stage as well as welcoming genuine attempts to make peace. I don't like over regulation, but I also feel like certain things should be part of the public sector and that the economy should be monitored and checked by unbiased third parties most of whom are likely to be government analysts. I think we should focus on advancing technology and being energy independent, that includes massive expansion into the clean energy market and moving away from things like fracking. I feel as though people should be allowed to make choices in how they run their businesses and who they choose to serve. That said, I do not believe that they should be allowed to discriminate without prior incident with a particular client. If someone wants your services and they happened to have beat up your brother when you were growing up, don't serve them. If you don't want to serve someone because of their race or sexual orientation, too bad, wear your big kid panties and earn a living. Also the welfare system in the US is all kinds of screwed up.

First someone thinks it will be awesome to bring up religion, and then you can guess how that turned out. Now, someone thinks it's a good idea to bring up politics.

Not that I'm condoning it or anything. I'd love to support it, it's just that neither politics or religion will ever be a good idea to bring up in a group of people living different lives altogether. just my observation.

I hate both the mainstream American political parties as they are now. I wish there was a way to bring back the 'Bull Moose Party'. Or at the very least, put a fire under these pathetic Democrats so they go back to work.

And as for the Republicans, I would only hope that the extremist right fringe is subjected to the prison of Guantanamo Bay or barred from political discourse. There is only so much insane troll logic from them that I can take before I wonder if those types are legitimately crazy or it is an elaborate act that I am not understanding.

The thread on religion actually went pretty well overall, if you are referring to the one I created. There was a bit of an issue early on but that was quickly moved past. I also wouldn't even call it an issue in retrospect.

Well, that is subjective. Here is mine : It's not stimulating, just seeing everyone's stats or beliefs clash with one another in that 'omfg how could you say that about my beliefs?' sense, is relatively less purposeful than if we were to talk about personality traits or things that we tend to do like behaviours etc.

other than that, I think the test itself is as reliable as the MBTI test, it has that same unresolved issue of allowing people to conform between two choices, and the results don't fully reflect what they truly believe, but what only what they believe to the extent that those two or three choices allow. So a distorted version of what they believe.

For example, im not well versed with gun control enough to make an informed decision about it, but it looks like I will choose as rather than this in confidence that this is what I would believe, given that I was only given the option, like life imprisonment or death, I would choose life imprisonment only because death is something that will end me entirely, not because life imprisonment reflects who I am as a person, I don't want to be imprisoned for the rest of my life.

begrudgingly, I would never want to vote for the Green Party.

Choose "other stances" and it gives you more than two-three options. It also gives you the option to add your own answer.

I know. But there is also more options other than the ones in 'other stances' , and with more knowledge , there could even be more than that.

INTP's, just like INFP's, will usually always have a more libertarian mindset unless their environment/status calls for something else. I think it's safe to say the people you saw on occupy wall street were 80% INFP/INTP types.

Supposedly as follows:
Green - 97%
Democrats - 87%
Socialist - 74%
Libertarians - 52%
Constitution - 28%
Conservative - 16%
Republican - 13%

The Canadian one @MegHanSolo posted results from on page one (which is here):
Green - 92%
Liberal - 89%
New Democratic - 84%
Communist - 81%
[Bloc Québécois - 80%]
Christian Heritage - 31%
Conservative - 19%
Libertarian - 12%

An Australian variant of the quiz (disappointingly only three parties, although really there aren't any other well-established parties who I would've expected to see included anyway):
Green - 87%
Labor - 61%
Liberal - 25%

Obviously, the flaw with any tests like these is that party views are an incredibly limited way to ascertain a people's political belief system, and so a quiz where the questions themselves are framed around party policy (and thus perhaps more fundamental questions aren't considered relevant because there's broad agreement, or lesser issues are given greater prominence because the parties seek to make it a point of difference) are problematic...
