When I figure out whether people are judging or percieving, I rely on my iNtuition; what do they seem like. That way has been very reliable but I wish there was a clearer definition. I know some Judgers who say they procrastinate all the time. Maybe they just think they do.:proud: Also, it might be hard to tell if someone is "laid back" or not. How do you tell?

I tend to rely on their overall attitude to determine if they're Js or Ps. For example, I'm pretty sure that my roommates stepfather is a J because he's made comments on the cleanliness of his side of the room and he seems to prefer being on time and remembering when you're supposed to meet him. The don on my floor is a P (I'm pretty sure) because he seems really laid-back and is very lenient when it comes to rules. If someone does something wrong, he'll just calmly let you know that you did something wrong and after that he'll typically give out warnings. He hasn't actually written anyone up yet (partially because he earns our respect rather than expects it).

I get a jagged vibe from even the most relaxed of the J types. It is a slight clash that I can usually feel. It's not always a source of incompatibility, since I get along fine with my two J parents and my J best friend. I just have trouble being as casual around J types unless they have proven that they accept or admire my P qualities. Usually I can tell by my own slightly increased sense of insecurity or anxiety.

Is it that feeling you get when you feel someone is silently judging you? I get that a lot, I hate it when people do that!

Any low grade magician will tell you that iNtuition does not work! Its Perception (Perseus system). But even that does not work with a high perception Panda (ISTP variant).

Its the fourth Door.

What is left out? It is only the telepath and tantric sex. And the dream world (fantasy INTP)

Even a Troll splinter ..... ???

It's hard to type 1 letter at a time. Think of it like music. It's not the tone itself you hear which makes it musical, but the relationship of the tones between eachother which gives you a perspective.

You've just got to kind of take a whole overview of their personality. An initial vibe off a INTJ and ISTP might be very similar, but I'll just keep them under observation until the type occurs to me, rather than try to immediately pass judgment and see something that isn't there.

In the past I've effectively mixed up an ESTJ with an INFJ(and vice versa) by being hasty. It's all about a general vibe and using deductive reasoning to narrow it down as you get more information.

You can really tell by seeing what kind of humour people respond to, and looking at the surroundings they keep. For example, my ISTP friend has a pickup completely packed with tools. Completely. Both the bed and front. Disorganized as hell, I might add. An ISFP friend I've got, the walls have drawings/writing all over them, things are in general disrepair, and you find the occasional used condom.

Wheras almost all the NT's I come across have what I would describe as a functional clutter. Messy, cluttered, but they know where everything is, and still make use of it. NF's are somewhat more orderly than NT's, and tend to have more artwork/decoration. SJ surroundings are by far the easiest. They are immaculate, orderly(if not inefficiently so), and never keep anything "handy"(wheras NT's keep everything handy).

I dont type the J/P in isolation. I go by temperament (NT, NF, SJ, SP) and then try to narrow it down. and the overall picture and what I know about the relationship between the letters and cogn. functions. For example, if someone seems to have the Si function, (it can be easy to spot), I will know that he or she is a J, since only SJ:s have it. I also compare with people I already know and their lifestyle.

-Sense of duty
-Spontaneity
-Adaptability
These 3 traits are normally described as a receipt for P and/or J disctintion, but it's not just the qualities; it is the reactions and actions taken when involoved in the direct interaction of the traits, what reveals the real identity.

Normally i run a camouflaged test (absolutely fun for the tested), which will let me know in the frist couple of minutes not only their 4 letters but also thier internal problems, their external difficulties their multi-personality goods and bads, etc.

I could go for the details that reveal cognitive preferences rather then personality type since many people have a couple of non-compatible strong cognitive functions (in the mbti model) that could lead to multipersonality and inconsistent atitude.

I associate J's with being a tad bit rigid, whether it's with movement or speech. I've been called uptight or cold because of my demeanor. P's seem more physically relaxed in my opinion.

The rabbit means longevity and grace, so freezing would be an atitude far away from its way of being :proud:
The last Rabbit I met, the idea of longevity and grace was getting a new tattoo!

Rabbits breed a lot. Monogamous for short periods, the humankind. Mono- can mean Tri- though. Lots of offspring.

Young Rabbits get stoated (ENFP variant).
