I wouldn't say that I'm not charming... Just not charming enough. I'm typically more direct and idealistic- I'm too focused on my goals to pay attention to how I might seem when I speak or move around- and would like to be more charming. Any tips?

People say I'm 'too nice' all the time, but I don't think of this as charm...:wink:
Also, does anyone else find that sometimes they're too blunt for their own good? Or is it just me? Haha I like talking about things that matter and getting to know people, but I'm scared I'm a little too honest sometimes :kitteh:

Don't be like the other members of the monkey house, though. Your directness *is* part of your charm.

As for bringing out more innate charm ... what do you want in your interactions? Do you want more play? It can be developed. But you are an earnest soul - and I would not see that too diluted. Expanded, yes. : )

And yes, I get the bluntness thing with awful regularity. Ah well - the world is filled with prevarication, so I tell them it's a little balancing. ; )

Oh, if only someone would write a book on "How to Be More Charming for Goal-Oriented Extroverts." Please. I'd buy that.

I'd say I agree with fguewriter. Don't cut back on the directness too much! Just be your charming little self. Perhaps smiles and lollipops could boost your charm levels? (Just kidding. I honestly think that simply being direct and friendly is quite charming, and useful, as well!) Other than that, I sadly can offer no advice...

And you get that too? My beloved INFP friend tells me that I'm "an angel." I haven't a clue where she got that idea. My wonderful INTJ friend says that she finds my impulsiveness "endearing," but I don't think that counts as charm, either... Maybe we're just meant to be charming/endearing, and not straight-up charming?
