Hi, I'm new here. I used to be here but I deleted the account, while trying to rescue old posts, I thought I might just have another crack at this.

My name is thorolo.
My name is based on a nickname I have used during childhood called 'ddololo'.
That was a random onomatopoeia I wrote, I can not recall the reason or intention obviously as I wrote that while I was a young child. But I think it sounds awesome, it even has Thor's name in it.
I am basically here to learn and listen. Technology has advanced to the point that deep communication and connection with others are challenging in "real life". The phones that people carry are too advanced. It is not hard to get addicted to a small device that has the same power as a mid to low range laptop. I feel Phones are a barrier, a wall that is created between people. Technology is both a gift and a curse to the humanity. :crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:
For instance, in a recent film I watched, survivors of Vietnam wars discussed helicopters. Now, to design a helicopter, I think we would need the following :
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering
- Excellent knowledge of electrical engineering
- Excellent understanding of logistics of traveling
- Insight into physics and nature (wind and air)
- Manual dexterity
- Teamwork
- Vision
Humanity is amazing and we have used the above to our advantage to design, test, fail, try again to build a helicopter.
In the film I have mentioned, there is one man who was extremely intelligent, he appeared to be in his early to late 60s. He described the awe he had when he first encountered, but how the helicopter can both destroy or save someone's lives. This is backed up by a lady, who has developed an understanding fear of Helicopters. I feel that we can use technology to enhance our lives, and thus this medium is great for communicating with people about typology and Jungian psychology, that you can not. :tongue:
My personal interests (mainly developed from personal experiences, literature or cinema) are as follows, I feel that they can all be connected and linked back to complement eachother.
- Art : Science is a form of art
- Science : Science requires understanding of numbers
- Mathematics : Musicians deal with numbers all the time consciously and unconsciously.
- Music : Music can be used to understand your and others spirits.
- Spirituality : Misunderstanding of spirituality has historically led to crime.
- Crime : Crime is one of my favourite genres, (Infernal affairs, Memories of crimes! are few of my favourites!)
- Cinema : Best way to chill out and relax
- Anime : I cartoons as a child, why not love it as a grown up?
- Food : Essential necessity to life and growth, so this is my interest. I mainly cook Japanese food.
- Nature : Worship the mother earth.
- Animals : Worship the mother earth.
- Children's health and well being : Today's nurture, tomorrow's superhero.
- Both natural and architectural Environment : What you see can change your life.
- Cognitive reasoning : Understanding why and how you do things can make you a better person.
- Shadow functions : Understanding why and how you become a villain, not a superhero.
At the end of the day, I am a very below average student in life. I am here to learn and listen.
