So.. about your link. Emotions are the respons in human body from stimuli. And feelings are the judgements one have made from these, made a philosophy about life, how to live, and how to react?
What he is saying is that emotions are physiologically produced reactions and fairly short lived and they serve to protect us both physically and mentally.

His take on feelings is that they are born from emotion, as the emotions are stored and collected instead of being briefly experienced and forgotten/released. Conclusions and judgements about life (how to live it, how to survive mentally and physically) are reached through those feelings. Also, that feelings can then feed emotions.

I see it more as a value. Feelers aren't more prone to emotional outbursts or the such. Just that they are more comfortable evaluating a situation and making a decision based on how they feel about it or how it will affect other peoples feelings. Thinkers aren't comfortable making decisions based on feelings. Feelers don't feel more than Thinkers. It's just different values.

Feeling is about assessing if something is good/bad or appropriate/inappropriate. If it should be accepted or rejected.

While Thinking is more concerned in just assessing what something ''is'' in a more neutral way, that is to say without making normative value judgments about it. So a Feeler is more prone to judge things in the former way (but can of course do both).
