I'm Freaking PSYCHIC!

It's official -- I'm freaking PSYCHIC!!

I had a dream the other night that I was in this town that I used to work in in China. It was a long, vivid dream. When I woke, I thought: I'll have to tell this to my friend (who I worked there with). I got my coffee, got on the computer to send her a message and there was a message from her, saying that she was going to that city to work! It's been 5 years since her or I were there!

Psychic.

Today I walked out onto the porch and I started thinking about another old friend of mine who I haven't seen in about 3 years (or talked to either). Just out of the blue I was thinking of her.
Not an hour later, I check Facebook and I've got a friends' invite from her!!!!

Psychic!!

And this is just this week! Okay, well, this stuff doesn't happen too often but still. What's going on?

Hm...I should play the lottery.

So, INFP's -- similar stories?? Are we just that good?

All of this happens to me. And I know what you're talking about with the N vs. S. I love N, and it seems like so much work for those poor S types to have to go through that thought process, while with N it's like instant knowing.
Yes, that's how I feel a lot of the time -- it's like instant knowing. On the other hand, when I instantly know something but don't know how I know it, it can cause some problems. The first is doubt. If I don't know how I got this information than how can I trust it? The second is frustration. Sometimes I'll skip the doubt part because I'll be certain of something, but I won't be able to explain to someone else how I know that. Or at least it'll come with great difficulty and NT's particularly don't have much patience with this.

That sometimes happens to me. There's more to dreams than people realize. I will have a very vivid dream of myself being in a certain situation, in a certain place, and a day to a few later I'll be living my dream. It freaks me out every time =/
If intuition is tied so closely to our consciousness and that consciousness knows no time bounds than maybe...
intuition can go beyond the present? What an exciting thought!!

Happens to me all the time. I once had this dream where I was just hanging out and BAM, I was rich. I wake up the next morning and get a call from Mad Dog saying he wants at least 10 keys of rock. I immediately got my ass out of bed and rounded up my boys Kneecap, Daddy Chedda, and Dynomite Beezy and my stash and drove the Impala down to Mad Dog's place, but Big-Ass Chronic and his crew heard about the deal and tried to give us some static. Needless to say, when you get timeless on the AK, bitches get ventilated. Anyway, that's the story of how I got this rolex.

I do agree, INFPs tend to get these sort of psychic views.

Bwah! I've actually dreamt of my own death three times. Once I got shot in the chest in an armed robbery, once a nuclear bomb got dropped on my house, and once I was struck by lightning on top of a building.

So maybe I am and just didn't know it....

....What are all you lot doing here then???

Oh, wow, that's cool!
And yes, I've had my little "hocus-pocus" moments as well (guess I can blame my N!)..

Three days ago I just thought about my INFJ friend and the next morning I got a message from her that she has been thinking of me and she wants to meet me.
And again three days ago I saw a dream about thunderstorm and well, well... I had to close me windows in that morning because of the thunderstorm..

Yep, I've had something similar happen to me several times - think of someone only to have them contact me that same day or days later. Sometimes I would have a dream about something with a clear dream symbol or event and then it would actually happen in real life. Or some event would happen to revolve around that dream symbol. It also happens more with my Mum (I've read stuff about the stronger connection with family members too!). Sometimes I would guess exactly what she would make for dinner! Doesn't happen these days much though.
I wouldn't consider that psychic though. Maybe it's like a form of intuition? =\

Last night another interesting thing happened to me, I'll just add this to The List which is quite long. Husband and I are playing Jeopardy on TV. There is a question about the 5th book of the bible. I blurt out Deteronomy. It's right.

Husband looks at me and says "how in the world did you know that?" I said "I have no clue... it just came to me."

Do you know the last time I studied the books of the Bible?

Never would be the answer to that question.

I have about 400 million stories like this about things just coming to me. *Coming to me* from where, I have no clue... it just happens. I also can feel just before the phone is going to ring.
Have any of you INFPs ever had what I had experienced? I made this thread long time ago but only SkyCloud respond.

The only experience I've had that really stands out in my mind has been when I went to school one day and for the entire day, I had this deep feeling that something was going wrong, that it consumed my thoughts for the whole day. Then when I was walking home from school, someone called my name and I turned around, and the camera I was holding went flying, and it broke all over the pavement. That camera was my most prized possession at the time.

When it comes to my intuition, there are many times where I feel like I just know something without knowing how I know it, and every time, it comes true. I feel like I have a good intuition, but I have the hardest time actually listening and following it, because I always think I can do better. =/
when i was little i had recurring nightmares of falling.

I also fell down stairs a lot, because i was clumsy and cannot walk on stairs, i always run!

Coincidence?
I'm somewhere between INFP and INTP and I swear I'm psychic too! Many a time I have known what song was going to come on the radio next, or had a feeling I should call someone just to find out something crazy was going on with them or they were about to pick up the phone and call me. I can sometimes predict that I'm about to get sick with something specific and it actually happens. I get "bad feelings" about something happening and a lot of the time it does in short order. Am I just drawing these things to myself with negative thoughts? Not sure!

My mom used to have vivid dreams about me, her, and my brother being herded up by Nazis only my name was not my given name, it was another name she had never heard of. She never told me about this and guess what name I picked out for my "German name" in my German class? I told her which name I chose and she flipped. I have also myself had dreams about being stamped with numbers and chased and bombed as a child before I even knew what the Holocaust was.

INFPs are the MOST intuitive people of all personality types and many say we have psychic gifts. I am extremely intuitive about people and their character!

Always hunting the source. Always following the trail. This is a stand alone complex.
The weirdest thing happened to me when I was 3 or 4. It was morning and I was lying in my bed in that state where you're between being awake and dreaming. I was looking at the wall and I saw something that looked like neon silhouette of my dad and our dog.

The dog was walking towards my dad, happy with its' tail up. Then my dad scolded it and it put its' tail between its' legs and walked away from him (this was happening in 2D). Then my dad walked in the opposite direction and his silhuette shifted to the next wall and approached my bedroom door.

Right when the silhuette was at the door, my dad walked in to wake me up. When I walked into our living room, our dog was lying in its' basket on the same place as it had been on the wall in my bedroom. It was like I saw them through the wall, as animated neon silhuettes on the wall, if that makes any sense..

Best thing? I think it's all BS :p I can't explain it but I'm sure there's a perfectly good scientific reasoning.
You can try seeing all these events from the perspective of Carl Jung's Synchronicity theory (no hocus pocus occult kinda of stuff). If you're not into theories, then I can say that from the MBTI model, you're just "highly intuitive"
When I was about ten I remember my dad getting a call and thinking "oh no, someone must be dead, I hope it's not Richard's mother." In fact it was actually his mother that died. And even though this has nothing to do with being psychic when I was twelve I was in the cafeteria with my theater class [not during lunch] talking to a friend when suddenly one of the chairs goes flying off a table. Also when I ask my parents how they feel, hungry, sleepy etc. they usually reply that they do in fact feel that way even if it's just a little bit. Then for some weird reason when I'm chatting with a friend of mine and her heart starts beating faster I ask something like"It's because of Kowalski, isn't it?" Although that could just be because she has an obsession with it and the show he's on, and she tends to see it as a triple obsession.
I know what the hell's going on...ALIENS!
