The philanthropist philosopher. Tucked away in an obscure area tending to my own things, in the woods just outside of the castle but easily able to go back and forth. My clothes would be simple. I would frustrate people in the castle with my eccentric personality and my vague esoteric questions and ramblings that had no ending or weren't easy to answer maybe even impossible. I would be disliked by some because they were unaware of my intentions, liked by others, no middle area. I would befriend the lowly people and I would pester all of the people of high status with endless questions because they, who are so high in status must be wiser than I. I would collect books from my comings and goings outside of our land and create a library for the use of the people. In court hearings I would defend the underdog and the poor, I would fight for the rights of the destitute. I would provide space in my own home for the poverty stricken and downtrodden.

I'd be the Lady-In-Waiting. I'd be the silent one, of lesser nobility (but still noble none the less), observing all the good stuff that goes on within the castle.

Ok, here we go...we need a Trojan Horse to come riding in...so that our kingdom can out manuever the setup with our cunning wit and strength...then we can put on our red shoes and dance! Hmmm...who will be the wise one to set up such an event?Nah... I am a good hearted forester...

I would be the local monastry abbot (what I gather very well fed for the times and apparently managed to get as much sex as anyone else - plus you get to go to heaven no matter what you do plus arguably more powerful than the king - well until his lordship gets jealous and the dissolution happens

In reality I would probably be a traveling wise man with knowledge of technology that woud render castles useless (but not wise enough to understand why no one in a castle is very interested in my ideas.......:sad

Since I'm so use to gazing at the stars, I couldn't help but gaze in the distance. What in the hell is that in the FAR distance about to enter the forest?! It looks ridiculous! I don't like the look of this. I'd better start drawing up charts to see what this could mean for our kingdom....
