Hey guys, so I'm trying to type my best friend
Pretty much he's one of the reasons I got into this whole personality type thing, so would love your suggestions.

- Very Cynical
- Likes to socialise but can be a bit awkward
- Gets down and hard on himself frequently
- Melancholy
- Shows concern for others, however does not know how to put that concern into action
- Very Deep thinker, thinks waaayy too much!
- Takes a lot for him to open up about how he is feeling at the time, and only really shares with those he is really close with.
- Takes a lot for him to get excited about anything
- I have tried to take him surfing/snowboarding, tried both once but hurt himself and will never try it again.
- Definitely not into extreme sports as much as I am, more into watching/playing tennis and cricket
- Has been my most reliable friend for over 10 years
- Obsessed with Drama/Theatre and history of the Nazi movement
- Can be quite stubborn at times
- Good Listener
- Takes him a long time to get over things, particularly when feels used
- I have tried to get him to do the Meyers Briggs test and told me he gets different types everytime he does it, I've tried getting him to do the test with me, but says he's already done it so won't try again.

Any ideas?

he sounds like an NT, but could be INFJ as well.

I think from only this, it could just as well be either INFP or INFJ.

INFP seems reasonable. INFJs are usually better at expressing feelings, IMO. INFJ is not out of the question though.

Thanks guys.
I wish I could get everyone in my life to do personality tests, unfortunately most aren't as open to exploring their personalities as I am!
