I'm very badly dyslexic and one of the characteristics of this is that Im neither left nor right brain dominat Im 50/50
I could pass for an INTJ except Im really soppy and lovely and keep falling in love:happy:
My ENFP friend is also dyslexic and 50/50 with the left/right brain thing, it makes for a strange type of creativity.

I love thinking it is my respite from strong emotion. If Im crying real hard, a heavy chemistry text book to read is a soother and stops me. Its like I have 2 brains! bothe however are dyslexic. My thoughts/firing neurons are constantly jumping from one side to another, which is one of the reasons why dyslexics get easily confused and take longer to do things.

I have the charactersistics of both left and fight brained dominant, which is great but unfortunatly at the price of being dyslexic:sad:
The results are very interesting. there does seem to be a pretty even balence. I wonder if this is a Ni and F thing. I say that because Ni is both analytical in a logic sence, but guided by the unconcoius in a less logical way. The F because surely the INTJ would ne hard on logic and fact?? or maybe not?
may be this is an Ni thing??
I kind of wonder though if your just testing certain characteristics and skills on the test. There has been a lot resurch on this and duel brain dominance is very rare because it is a actualy a hidrace. On a brain scan it shows up for dylexcis and autism.
I think it may be that we are complex, we all seem insainly courius about everyhting and are mostly very acedmeic for both the arts and science, and therefor are able to answer test questions in such a way that shows a range of skills and gives a balenced brain result. where as infact a brain scan would show otherwise.

The right side of the brain is capable of developing left side functions, look at people who have sufferd brain damage and strokes in time they recover. the undamaged parts of the brain take over. I think whats happen here is we have INFJ developing left side functions in the right side of the brain!!

I think it most cases it would be that T is left and F is right. otherwise you would score as T50 F50 making you an INXJ
at some point to test as an INFJ you must have got a higher F score. So your right brained dominatnt with very well devloped left brain skills, developed in the right side of the brain as the brain is very adaptable. I do't have any evidence to back this up other than theory, but the evidence of real co-dominance being a hindrence is well documanted. You don't switch one part of the brain on and off depending if your doing something logical or not, you have to shift everthing in between the left and right the whole time. Take a look at what happens when you do that and try to spell! check out how jumpy my post are! Im all over the shop!

I think we would see an even spread of right brain/left brain characterisics in Ni types, or in people that are keen to develop thier weeker skills. Its very possible that being an uncocous and deeply analytical fucntion that Ni does this without us concously trying.
we should ge see the INTJ lot with this! does any one else see where Im going with this?

I think INFJs are often left-brained - my last boss was, although he MIGHT have been ISFJ.

It's the INFPs and ENFPs who are pretty much INVARIABLY right brained.

Most T's are left brained, although I'm an exception - I'm strongly right brained...but then I'm strongly left brained. Which means I'm balanced. Two strong but opposing forces cancel each other out...?

See i dont get this. MBTI types F and T acording to how you make your descions, feeling or logic, but the left brain is all kinda logical, this is well documented and the right brian is all feeling and emtioanl intellegence. So how would some one that basis most of thier decsion making on how they feel be left brain dominant?
Im am oficaly confused!
I dont chose to base my descions on how I feel, infact it just seems a whole lot of hassle. I can't help it I just do stuff becuase thats how I felt, I wish my brain would go "hey cucmumber you don't want to being that because XYZ fact! doing that because your upset won't change it" and then my brain would actaly stop me from doing it and saying it, thus many terrable situation would not have occured
Cor if only!! Truth is Im super uber emotianl otherwise my logical left side would have got me out of some right situations. I have a post else where on how this led me to the INFJ for my type and not INTJ despite being very logical I hear my brain telling me but my body my sole what ever does not respond, and Im an emotinal impulsive wreck:crying:with a co dominant brain constanly in conflict with myslef!

because INFJ's have alot of natural intellegence, and really not enough research was put into finding out all the inner workings of us, one of them being our left brain strengths, but while must of us make descisions on feelings we are somewhat logical too which makes a neverending conflict with ones self, and i think maybe the Ne might have something to do with it ^^

and yes thats one of those welcome to the INFJ's kinda things, inside most of us are horribly conflicted or worse

Ok vaan I can buy that, seems to fit. My description of my brain feeding me logic but heart not responding must ring true for many.
