INFJ: The Conspiracy Theorist

6886 Views 15 Replies 15 Participants Last post by  Grad0507
Beneath the calm, collected exterior of the INFJ lies the horrible reality of someone who has seen The Truth. The INFJ knows what other people are too naive or too brainwasted to admit: the Conspiracy is real. Mistrustful and suspicious, the INFJ is not easily fooled, and does not take the word of the government-controlled medico-military-industrial complex for anything. Whether it's uncovering the plot by butter-eating Jews to clog the arteries of Christian folk with artificial margarine or discovering the secret laboratory in Tibet that's producing legions of Jimmy Carter clones that will be sent out to seize the manufacturing facilities in the Guangdong Province of China under the pretext of inspecting chickens for influenza, there is no lengths the INFJ won't go to in order to blow the lid off the whole thing.

INFJs can often be found holding down jobs as AM radio talk-show hosts. They can also be found driving taxis in the greater Washington, DC area. Other common jobs often held by INFJs include vagrant, loony, whacko, and writer/director/producer of the television show "Seinfeld." INFJs can also be found feeding that crucial bit of information to determined FBI agents just before they are brutally murdered.

RECREATION: INFJs often come home from a hard day's work exposing conspiracies about how the government is poisoning us with mind-control agents spread by passenger airliners and unwind by spending all night writing Web sites exposing conspiracies about how NASA faked the Bush election.

COMPATIBILITY: INFJs are usually happiest and most successful in relationships with Julia Roberts, though the relationships may not end happily.

Famous INFJs include...well, if I told you, I'd have to kill you.

I think you should balance your chart more so perhaps :) As I was reading I was wondering about your intentions, naturally so eh, suspicious of you.. speaking of the suspicion of others.
An INFJ might have stepped on his foot.

I laughed a bit.

Really unsure what the point of the thread is?

Although exaggerated, it's still true.
We are prone to conspiracy theories.
Doesn't mean we are wrong.
Government surveillance was 'only' a conspiracy theory too, before Snowden revealed everything.

Someone is pulling the strings behind the curtain in this world.
Be it the Jews, the billionaires, the illuminati or whatever you want to call it.
I am not fooled. I just see complex interrelations und put together abstract theories in my mind.
Sorry, but no way.

I'll readily admit that INFJs have some problems, but being conspiracy theorists is not one of them. The tendency to engage in that kind of activity is more associated with Ni in a malefic position (like an inferior or shadow function). When it's in your dominant attitude you can't go through life without knowing how to take Ni with a grain of salt. Any type would be a complete failure if they always took at face value even the faintest intimations from their dominant functions.

So we'll see the openings where conspiracies could exist, but we'll simultaneously laugh at them because we're experts at balancing the paradox of appearances and 'reality', because that's what we're constantly doing as Ni doms, putting our abundant intuitions into context. The exception to that is if an INFJ is somewhat psychotic, since at that point Ni wouldn't have it's natural veracity-checking mechanism in place anymore.
Little do you know, it's charade to throw you all off. It's so that the rest of you don't realize that WE are secretly the super, elite ones who control everything.
Wow, this thread is prehistoric. Not that I disagree, high Ni seems to be prone to this, there are other threads here talking about that correlation, and I think it's especially true when it gets backed up by Ti. But really, the cause of conspiracy theories links back to a web of socioeconomic factors that are much more complex than pseudo-psychological babble about how Ni-Ti creates shape shifting lizard people out of moderately suspicious circumstances. I personally like to study the psychology of conspiracy theories, how they form, and why, although I generally don't believe them.

Really though, I didn't even know that this website was even around in 2009.

This thread was necro'd.

Coincidence? I think not

Hmmm I think @mochi_kei is used by some other members to draw the attention away of the sheepish INFJ's, giving them time to delete the member exposing them and burying the thread deep down.

According to Douglas Adams it's actually the mice, but on the other hand, he might be a part of the conspiracy. By stating it's the mice he's taking our eyes off the cats.

Smart move, Adams. I knew there was more to you than meets the eye.

Definitely is Cats not mice.
ISTPs also tend toward conspiracy theories since we have the same cognitive functions.
