Haha! Not sure if this was your intent. I play guitar for fun, and anyways, I learn a lot of songs. The problem is I only learn like the beginning of every song, then get bored and move on to the next. So yeah, I'll also get back to you when I finish writing or playing a song in full.I was actually working on a song... I'll put it up once I'm done with it. roud:
quite brave of you to post your ultimate desire...Oh love,
If only I could pick every small part,
Of every small experience,
To fit the stars,
Where our love lives on
Where our love fires,
An enduring legend,
Against blocks of the world,
I would be happy,
I would feel that,
Only I owned you,
And that, my dearest love,
Is my ultimate desire.
Yes I wrote that.
your guitar playing didn't suck at all...This is awesome! Great posts!
All that is missing is the sound of cars and people walking that
usually comes in from the door of a coffee shop. haha
Well, here's my contribution. I wrote this a long time ago.
I suck at guitar playing so excuse the suckage.
I wrote the lyrics below because the audio may be fuzzy.
YouTube - Marisa's Picture
Fade in the winter
No luminescent colors but grey
Just scenes of a colorless day I see
I feel only sorrow and how I see the world has changed
How I used to love the beautiful rain that falls
But I was reminded with a picture of her smiling
Of how beautiful life can be, sometimes
Now the world has turned again
And for once I understand
No I've never, ever, felt so alive
And you seem to wonder wondering what made me smile
Oh it's easy when you feel this high, so high
But I was reminded
With a picture of her smiling
Of how beautiful life can be
A Mere Request
I confess I am attracted,
But I swore to myself I would not chase any more gals about.
I know you are shy,
You did start out smiling just at me each day.
And then you did begin to say hello.
And today, you asked me how I was doing.
You did all that. I know you can go further.
Now, I'm not sure if you are attracted back...
And it's quite alright if you're not.
But it would thrill me, you know, if you were to ask me just one thing...
It could be for me to help you with class.
It could be going for a cup of coffee.
I assure you,
The answer would be
Yes, yes, a thousand times, YES.
But maybe out loud I would just say, "That sounds great,"
But my eyes will probably give away my meaning anyway.
And even if you are straight,
What lady couldn't benefit from an adoring lesbian friend?
I don't mind simply admiring and appreciating you from afar.
But I do hope you will consider getting closer.
I tend to turn everyday things into contemporary poetry. I once wrote a poem about ketchup. Actually, I've written lots of things about ketchup. I really quite like the stuff.your way of typing is quite similar to mine...
... quite poetic for a blog entry...
