1. Was it difficult figuring out that you were a 5w4 infp?
I mistyped as INTP at first after I took Hans Eysenck's Big Five test (and it gave me an MBTI equivalent), and then I finally realized that I was an INFP. I had known I was a Type 5 of some sort before all of that. I also slightly related to the Type 4's search for authenticity and uniqueness and decided on 5w4. "The Iconoclast" (the title prescribed for 5w4's) fits me quite well, as I am the type to be rebellious against authority and openly embrace progressive change and I am humanistic and empathetic while at the same time being a logical, rational, and curious person. I also get along really well with type 4's; my best friend is an obvious Type 4 ENFP, and her and I relate a lot and get along well.
2. Describe yourself a bit plz.
I'm withdrawn, cerebral, and very curious. I am always searching for new knowledge. The world is full of beauty, whether it would be watching the the sunset or appreciating the structural integrity of a mathematical formula. I seek to understand these things at an acutely masterful level. I am insecure when I feel incompetent and useless. A lot of people knowledgeable in the MBTI mistake me for an INTP, but that is far from the case.
However, I can also be warm, emotional, compassionate, empathetic, and humanistic. I care about the human condition and will do anything in my power to improve the lives of others. I am a revolutionary socialist and I am always fighting to stop discrimination, whether it be racism, sexism, or homophobia and to fight inequality and exploitation. I was born poor and my broken spirit has inspired me to help others in need.
I am nerdy and geeky. I play a lot of video games, and I used to play competitively for a DotA team before I decided to quit for personal reasons. I love RTS and RPG games in general. I hang around with a lot of NT types.
I am into the usual INFP interests of music, written creative composition, fictional prose, and artwork I enjoy all of these things, and I have participated in professional orchestras, but for analytical and scientific purposes rather than spiritual and emotional purposes, so I guess I can say that I am a competent musician. For example, I will analyze music and all the beats, speed, dynamics, articulation, and delivery rather than soak it in and absorb it in romantic delight.
However, I have been more into science, psychology, economics, and political science. I am drawn to the scientific method and empirical observation. I am skeptical and employ critical thinking constantly. I cringe when people are mindless and pseudo-scientific.
3. Want a cookie? <_< not the chocolate chipped one...that is MINE!
Of course, I want a cookie. That's okay. I like White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies better anyways. But be a good, humanistic and sharing 5w4 like you're supposed to be and share those damn chocolate chipped cookies or I will give you nasty papercuts in between the webs of your fingers and toes with my D&D player manual (just kidding).
