INFP vs. ENFP relationships?

what are your relationships with infps like? the two i have are...disastorous. i'm just wondering if this is common between INFPs and ENFPs. there's an awkward tension, lack of understanding, and underline competition and threat i feel with my ENFP relationships.

I like my INFP friends, my problem is that I'm attracted to them and they end up dating in some crazy patterns that don't really make sense to me, or them. I'll ask em out, they like me, yet they go and find disasters instead.

But I like INFPs, y'all are endlessly optimistic when healthy :tongue:

My sister is an INFP. We've found that if combined, our collective mind is much more powerful than if not combined. I love helping with her creative writing.

I am/have been friends with several. They make awesome friends, but there was absolutely no romantic attraction between us I find, even though on paper is looked like a good idea.

My one INFP pal and I got along great. We could talk about anything, talk about nothing... it didn't matter. He was my loyal guitarist, and we worked out a bunch of songs and covers together that were always fun to perform for people. I wish I still lived in the same city as that guy. :sad:

how interesting is it that when you go to the enfp sector there are tons of exclamation marks and smiley faces... being an infp sometimes when i text extroverted people i wonder if i should use a exclamation mark since they use it all the time, and if i do would it look like im screaming the sentance??

Yes I know that i'm not stupid but there is a difference.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Hey girl! just got outta the gym! miss ya, lets hang out later! :)

that would be from one of my extroverted friends

i would just put,

hey i just left the gym, do you wanna go out later?

get it?!!

I can usually "get along" with them, but it depends on the type of INFP. Enneagram 2 INFP's and I usually mix like water and oil. However, the enneagram 4 ones I get along with pretty well.
