I don't know any in real life sadly, but from hanging around the ENTJ subforum on here, I like their style. They are confident, know what they want and go after it. Their whole mindset on life is very intriguing to me. If I could switch my type, I'd go ENTJ in a heartbeat because they are badass all around! Tyler Durden ENTJ?

Selfish, cold and manipulative. Don't care for this type at all.

that's a pretty sweeping generalization, seems a little unfair.

wasn't Carl Sagan supposedly an ENTJ?
he was none of these things.

Their actions could come off that way at times, but I agree with their mindset. The mindset of success. To achieve, to win! Winning isn't everything, IT'S THE ONLY THING!!! They have their eye on the ball, and I respect and admire that about them.
I hate you.

Note to self: Don't drink pop and read at the same time. :p
That being said, I don't feel its always important to win, but it is important to win whats important. The game doesn't even have to be against other people. Sometimes winning is losing and losing is winning xD

How would you know? He was successful, famous, respected, and loved by his audience, but that doesn't say anything about his private life. In fact, the best way to achieve that sort of status is by manipulating people... Who's to say you didn't just fall for it?

Also, either generalizing based on personality type is fair or personality type is meaningless. Jung created the system specifically with the intent of using it to generalize, and that's exactly how it has been applied ever since.

People should really stop arguing that a system created specifically to predict behavior can't be used to predict behavior.

I think a lot of people like ENTJs but not necessarily INFPs. I'm more attracted to ISFJs and INFJs.

Also, the idea that ENTJs are obsessed with winning, that the are cold and manipulative, that have been suggested is not fair. Most of these guys are hard working and they seem to have a strong sense of justice too.

Imo what you said is a load of BS.

I know only one ENTJ and she is awesome imo outside of the intimate relationship zone. Her values differ too much for me to think about her in such a way. I do admire her thou and so do many others. Some ENTJs are good people, some less and some just suck. The same as any type imo.
