OK. One thing that astounds me about my OH is that fact that he will use various things lying around and adapt them to a certain purpose. Or he will use household items to make things neater/easier/give them longevity.
F'r'instance, as a simple example, he will cut off the top and bottom of a coke bottle to make a funnel so it is easier to fill the coffee jar.
He will take blocks of wood, or books, to build a stand for his radios.
He fixed a dodgy usb connection on a previous computer with a broken matchstick (firming up the sloppy port)
He's sellotaped some of the power cable to the bottom of this laptop, to stop it drooping and reducing stress on the jack.
Over the years, he's bent various things, from spectacles to spoons, so as to adapt them to the easiest use (for him).
He loves "redesigning" things...I wish I could think of a few more...are you the same/can you come up with some other examples?
