OK. One thing that astounds me about my OH is that fact that he will use various things lying around and adapt them to a certain purpose. Or he will use household items to make things neater/easier/give them longevity.

F'r'instance, as a simple example, he will cut off the top and bottom of a coke bottle to make a funnel so it is easier to fill the coffee jar.

He will take blocks of wood, or books, to build a stand for his radios.

He fixed a dodgy usb connection on a previous computer with a broken matchstick (firming up the sloppy port)

He's sellotaped some of the power cable to the bottom of this laptop, to stop it drooping and reducing stress on the jack.

Over the years, he's bent various things, from spectacles to spoons, so as to adapt them to the easiest use (for him).

He loves "redesigning" things...I wish I could think of a few more...are you the same/can you come up with some other examples?

Does using a tie as a scarf count?:)

Yeah, sometimes I put items to use in a way that their makers didn`t think of.

Ripping out the hdd out of first gen ipod and using is as portable drive.

Fixing a car with a healthy dose of ducttape.

Using every advantage that terrain gives you when offroading. When my shovel broke I used broad edged knife to dig out of trouble.

Paintball - shooting foliage so enemies get painted and count as "shot":), ruled out as cheating very fast:/

Whenever I make myself some food, say scrambled eggs and tea, then realize I didn`t get spoon to mix sugar in the tea, I use butt of the fork to do it.

Ever played wow? I bet that the person who thought about mind controlling other players and dropping them off the cliffs was an isfp:). Oh god I think that I`ve spent hours on every game I played just to figure out ways to cheat the system:)

I love redesigning things. But the outcome has to look really good. Like the coke bottle example honestfi, I wouldn't have done that because to me, even though it might work well, it wouldn't look nice (to me). Same with duct taping my car. Sorry Ixtli, I hope I don't offend you but I could never do that. I'm really into aesthetics. It's not to impress other people or because I care what other people think or anything, it just really messes with me if something does not look good in my own eyes.

This morning, he is bending his bicycle handlebars, using a cable bike lock and scissor jack.

Every so often, he removes this bizarre contraption, looks at the bars and says "nope, not quite right."

If I had any doubts he is ISFP, they may be removed today.

I feel the same way. I come up with solutions, but if it doesn't look good, I toss it.

For example, I've been needing a hanging wire fruit basket for the kitchen. All the ones in the stores have weak chains and weak wire, they wouldn't last a week. So instead I took some old copper wire I had and wove a basket myself. It is very stong, but the thing is as ugly as ever! It's not going in the kitchen. I think I'll just buy a basket and put some strong chains on it.

Same here. I have cut up endless pepsi cans but not finding the right kind of paper and colour has prevented me from turning it into a pen stand.
I have twisted cardboard, stuck wet paper n glue on it and made a paper mache jewelery box. Aah and i have(like almost everyone else) experimented most when it comes to cooking!
unfortunately, some of them haven't turned out to be good. far from it.:proud:
I had used money plant leaves as a kitten-carrier and it was very comfy by the luk of it coz the kitten cud stick it's paws out through holes that it had made in the leaf and the stalk made it the perfect carrier!
Yeah that is abt all that iv done.
Not much, but i had fun with all thesE!!!! I'm sure ur husband does too!
