Hello All!

It's been awhile since I've posted. But here we are.

Are any other INTJs into poetry or write poetry? If so, what do you like to read/write?

I see my poetry as an outlet for difficult emotional situations, but I love word play and challenging definitions.

If you want to share some of your work, feel free to.

Regards,

CMacey.

I'm into poetry.

I've recently discovered:

Rupi Kaur - ISFP

Charles Bukowski - ISTP

I too, love the word-play that goes into it. Also the Ni-subcontexts with each word and phrase.

Oooh poems, I happen to love haikus.

It's constipation
Struggle in the hole, ALAS!
It's a mere droplet...

Just FYI there's another thread somebody started not too long ago about poetry.

Since I'm not yet sick of my throat sound, nor dying, I'll just say Bernard Heidsieck, Maurice Scève, Ezra Pound, Chrétien, Homer, Horace, Bernstein, Coolidge, Vergil.

Meh, I don't have any enemies among poets.

I bet some girl would write your little ad copy for free, if that's what you want.

Good luck with your query -- it's really interesting.

Love that, Solstice. Reminds me of something my INTJ boyfriend would write. He's a brilliant poet -- much like all of you have mentioned, he is very into the word play. You should look him up! Terrence Chiusano. He has a book out on Amazon: On Generation and Corruption.

As an ENFP I am particularly fascinated by the INTJ mind.

I write poetry as a form of emotional release. I like turning my feelings into a thing that's open to interpretation, and I find that it is simply so fun and I have a talent for writing. Absolutely adore it. Helps me think over how I feel as well, and turns my stages of depression into something less stressful and more beautiful, as I am often prone to always analysing them and making sense of them.

I have recently tried journaling some poems and posting it on tumblr or instagram. They usually have the same structure and I like rhyming. Lol. They come out simple...

CAN YOU?

Can you do it?
Will you pull through?
Uncover my inner heart
Set the growth I have to do?

Can you do it?
Be my rock of strength for me?
When I fall into pieces
Will you simply flee?

Can you do it?
Take the lead in this game of love
Cuz I don’t know how to show my feelings
Will you then go beyond and above?

Can you do it?
Because I want to see
The depth and loyalty of your heart
Set the example for me

TAMING THE INNER WORKAHOLIC

Work will remain
Even when we are long gone
It outlives us
It trudges on

But people, we live
Only a short while
So why do we insist
On lining up single file?

Letting work tax us
And sacrifice what we feel
Letting work break us
Forgetting what is real?

Your priorities are what matter
Your own story is what counts
And the value of a life
Far exceeds any dollar amounts
