Can you tell me a little about INTPs so I can recognize one of you when I see you?

Same for me on the posts - you throw some out there and they get a following and others are duds. It depends on the mood of the place.

& i'm not sure there is anyway to tell one apart in a crowd when you see one...I keep hearing we are chameleon like and tend to blend in.

I work with an INTP and she is witty but shy and sometimes has a biting sense of humor. Does that sound like you or is she unique?

IMHO - that might be the INTx where you are just thinking about something but it looks standoffish.
