I guess it kinda does control me. I mean, I don't just go randomly looking for information but when I happen to stumble on something that peaks my interest I tend to get absorbed in it.

For example, when I started to go the gym. I wanted to be more efficient with my workout, this lead me to reading about the best possible exercise to achieve strength for a beginner, which lead to me doing more research into compound exercises which then lead into me finding a good diet then from there I read about nutrition after that I watched youtube vid after youtube vid on correct form, best methods, how to structure your week to get the best muscle growth then I started to read articles, and on and on and on.

It wasn't until a conversation with a friend the other day that I realized how indepth I had really gone, I learned more about nutrition, diet, muscle growth, workouts and the muscles they target, form, routine, supplements, etc in a week than my friend had in months.

It just comes so naturally to me, I'm never satisfied with just a small amount of information. I think it revolves around competency, if I feel that I'm not competent at something that I am doing then I become very uncomfortable, I just have to go out of my way to learn more about the matter. Though my thirst for mastery isn't quite the same as my thirst for competency, unfortunately :(

Intuitive aptitude - Heroes Wiki

Intuitive aptitude is the ability to understand the structure and operation of complex systems without special education or training. However, it also compels the holder to understand as much as they can, resulting in a "hunger" which can manifest a need to understand, which often causes Sylar to kill other evolved humans and acquire their abilities.

Absorbing information and trying to understand is what my brain does. My brain controls me, I am my brain, so yes it controls me.

I am not happy with its grips. I've experiencing personal events which made me realize knowing too much is unbalanced and harmful to a certain extent, to myself and others.

No other personality is susceptible to this. INTJs/ENTJs are practicle people and they disregard erronous information quickly instead of hording it INTP style. NFs store information in other forms but I don't think the capacity is as much as NTs.

Seriously, I'll hunt you down if you know something that I need to complete the puzzle going on in my head.

Perhaps we should start a support group for our addiction, we could call it Google Anonymous. I need to research this idea for a few weeks.
That is a good one there~
