Sometimes, when there is nothing to do, and you are bored.......Do you ever just sit still and just let your mind wander for no reason? You know just let it think of one thing after another, and just dream and lose all track of time and space.....Dream about the future maybe? Maybe about how wonderful your life will be someday? Possibly about a goal that you will once accomplish? Do you ever just let you mind go and dream?

Yes, I do that a lot. I just allow my mind to relax and reflect if I begin to feel bored.

Of course I do. I just sit back and let my mind go from idea to idea. Sometimes I can't even remember where I started.

lol, let implies that I have some sort of control over it... which I don't

I once shut myself in a room with my study notes for 4 hours. Didn't touch them the whole time cuz I couldn't stop myself from daydreaming.

There is always something to do, but my ability to remember it is something else. There are times where I will just see where my intution will lead me. Sometimes it can be a fun trip. I usually try to let my mind go at the end of the day or after I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock.

This is a constant state of mind for me too. I just wish that I could learn how to turn it off when I want to. I may take up yoga classes; my therapist is an INTP, and she said that it helped her to control her Ne. Hell, maybe it might work for me as well.

Thought hopscotch......BRILLIANT! THAT'S A BRILLIANT WAY TO DESCRIBE IT!
I don't think it is especially for Ne users, except that I expect it would be more random for them. It's a constant state for me, thinking about things such as plans for the future, books I've read, or ideas I've been exploring.

Yup, i do that in the middle of a hurry, i guess its some kind of escape from all the fuzz outside.
It's happening right now as I am typing this soooo yeah...
It's my natural state, and pretty much nags at me constantly whenever I'm doing something else.

I wonder why the OP asked this exactly?

Anyway. Yep, I definitely like to space out and and swim in thought. Except I don't really daydream about my life so much as ponder non-self related shit I guess, lol. I would say I had problems with getting outta my head earlier when I was more bored with life, you know, like I was just disengaging myself from the world around me for escapism.
Definitely, I do. When I have nothing to do, or all the possible things I could do are boring (such as I have to clean my room which looks like crap), I simply sit down, look out the window, listen to music, and daydream. I do dream about my future. I think of what my house will look like, what my kids could be like, what my job will be like, the people i'll know in the future. I know things probably will not turn out like I think, but I like considering possibilities regardless. For example I used to want to be a veterinarian, that was my dream job. And i would daydream about me being a vet, and how I'd be the best vet ever, and how I would love my job. I do it about random things frequently.
I let my mind wander all the time, when Ti doesn't try and overanalyze everything. I also start getting much more creative and think about the ways in which something could be. I also dream about the future a lot because the picture in my head is so much more interesting than the real thing. Or I think about a problem and I think of 3 or 4 ways that I could improve it.
