I'm trying to get a better understanding of how Introverted and Extraverted Intuition works! I have a small hunch, but anyways... If you've seen this video before, please do not give anything away! This is just my little experiment.

So first, please state your MBTI code (unless it's in your flair!). Then tell me which way is she spinning: www . youtube . com/ watch?v=Kxmefh60u3Q

Initially clockwise,

but there it is ambiguous, because it depends on interpretation of which leg or arm is in front and which is in background and thus can be interpreted as it's mirror image either way.

I can easily choose which way I see her spinning.

INTJ: clockwise

Possibly relevant: I am left-handed and have a lot of left-right confusion. I flip the directions.

Also possibly relevant: most things are made to go from left to right, or clockwise. Maybe we have trained our brains to expect that direction, and so when we see something ambiguous, we see the direction that our brain expects.

INTJ: Clockwise.

Perhaps extraverts will see it as counter-clockwise, and introverts clockwise in accordance to what brain side they use the most? Just a hunch.

@Squirt What do you mean by "initially"?
I meant what SilverFalcon said - first viewing was cw, but I can change the direction by changing the perspective of the figure, since it is ambiguous.

I have left right confusion, too, but I am ambidextrous. I play guitar left handed but write right handed, for instance.

Another cool test is to ask someone to draw a picture of "the girl throws the ball" and see what direction they draw it.

INTJ - clockwise at first

Then I started staring at her painfully straight knee and figured that if she starts spinning while facing me, she's going counter-clockwise.

I've done this "test" like few months before and I could switch. Today I watched it and saw only clockwise, I can't even "catch" the interpretational frame for different direction. Maybe because I'm tired.

Lol, even with those "helpful shading" youtu.be/9CEr2GfGilw?t=3m22s it took me some time to see it turning counter-clockwise, it looks unnatural to me for some illogical reason.

Btw, if the OP is considering this test to be indicative of brain lateralisation, it's not.
That's what I was going to say!
