I have a close ESFJ friend. She doesn't fit any of the negative ESFJ stereotypes, she's not Miss Popular, or a manipulative drama addict. Probably the worst thing I could say about her is she actually (gasp) likes some of the music they play on the radio, but that's just me being a snob. No, she's generosity personified, the one who invites people over for intimate karaoke parties on Christmas Eve, the one who says you can spend the night at her place when home's too far away, the one who makes coffee for everyone in the room, the one who goes on a walk with you to shrug off enough alcohol to be able to drive properly. She has her own loveliness to her, she's in her late 40s and still gets hit on by boys in their 20s, young enough to be her son. I've decided that she's my second mom, she reminds me of every friend my mom had growing up, and that's a very good thing.
